I paid the business (specifically a *** ********************** **********************) $1,500 on April 1, 2024 to perform an art appraisal of 10 artworks located in my home. The same gentleman met my son for a few hours to see the artwork that was to be appraised. It was made clear to *** ********************** that we needed the appraisal within a few weeks (time was of the essense) and *** ********************** agreed to this timeframe. We have called and emailed and texted *** ********************** and another associate at this company many times to get the appraisal. *** ********************** kept claiming it was coming and it never arrived. Because we needed the appraisal in a timely manner and never recieved it from *** ********************** (or the company), we ended up having to hire another company to perform the work. I would like the $1,500 that I paid *** ********************** and the company returned. I paid via Zelle and have proof of payment. I am 86 years old and this situation is very disapointing.
