I recently had a terrible experience with CHARLES P. ROGERS, and I feel compelled to share my disappointment with their customer service. I purchased an item from them 16 days ago, but it turned out to be the wrong one. According to their representative Sunshine (real name?) their website mentions a 10-day return policy which is unreasonable for a retail business. (I know of no other retail business that doesnt accept returns for a minimum of 30 days.) However, when I contacted them, their customer service representative, "Sunshine," was unhelpful and refused to accept the return of the unopened merchandise.Not only did they reject the return, but they also seemed disinterested in assisting me with my situation. It's frustrating that they have such a rigid return policy, especially when I had previously purchased other similar items from them. This refusal has left me feeling like my money is wasted and that they don't value their customers.I expected better service and flexibility, considering the mistake was an honest error on my part. I'm extremely dissatisfied with CPR's lack of understanding and empathy towards their customers. I won't be recommending them to anyone, and I'll definitely think twice before making any future purchases with them. Their unwillingness to accommodate this simple return has tarnished my impression of the company.To sum up CAVEAT EMPTOR (BUYER BEWARE) when dealing with Charles P Rogers. My recommendation is to only do business with them if you are 100% certain that you are going to keep what you are going to purchase or LOOK ELSEWHERE.Charles P. Rogers Beds

I purchased an iron bed and quality was below average. Bed arrived in box that looked like it had been returned and repackaged. I emailed the same day. I asked for shipping label to return bed. I never got a reply. I sent another email, no reply. I spent time chatting with a customer service representative on their website. They stopped replying when I asked to return the bed. I received a call from a ******. He asked if I had opened the box? I said yes, he said it's nonrefundable if the box has been opened. I asked ******, how was I able to inspect the merchandise if I couldn't open it. He said, he personally wrote the return policy himself, so he was fully aware of it. I have purchased wrought iron beds. The quality is substandard. I tried to leave a review on their site and was unable to.Charles P. Rogers Beds

I bought a king sized wrought iron bed in May 2022, I researched what bed to buy and bought from Charles Rogers because it is made in *** and to order and I thought it would be a special item. The problems started when the delivery men that I paid for through Charles Rogers to deliver & assemble the bed didn't know what they were doing and dropped all of the pieces of the bed on the floor, including the 4 gold ball finials. From the room below the bedroom we listened to pieces being dropped for almotst an hour and I finally told them to leave & had to hire people on my own and pay them to assemble the bed. Less than a year later, the gold finish on the 4 finials is coming off. I have NOT used any kind of cleaner or solvent on them, they've just been sitting there on the 4 corners of the bed. I emailed the company to see if I could purchase 4 new finials and they emailed back that this was not a product defect and they must've "come into contact with something", in other words, my fault. I did nothing to cause this and was upset by their email right away saying it wasn't a product defect. When their assembly people dropped the bed pieces all over the floor, they got scratched. They "offered" to refinish them but I don't want to send them back and pay ($90!) for them to ship them back to me when they are defective to begin with. The finish will just come off again. They were also supposed to have refunded me $300 last June after the problems with their assembly people but they only refunded $160. And I have to keep tightening the bolts every so often. I've never had to do this with any other (much less expensive) bed. I chose this company because it seemed like a special product and I thought it would be quality. IT. ISN'T. I am sick over how much I spent on this bed and it is not worth the money and now I'm stuck with it.Charles P. Rogers Beds

Run from this company! We purchased an Estate **** plus . We spoke at length to the saleslady about our box spring and she said it was good to use. NO springs sticking up, no broken supports.... We soon discovered major depressions where we slept even turning the mattress didn't help. We contacted the company to start a claim. We did the required measurements and sent all the required pictures. Each e mail they send requires additional actions from **. It is clear from the reviews and our actions they will NEVER honor a warranty claim. And after much thought we decided we will NEVER want another bed from this company. The management is NOT at all customer friendly! Our best advise is to RUN from this company. We spent almost ******** for a bed that lasted just over 2 years. I purchased a st regis twin bed as a veteran disabled wirh spine injuries from military service. I needed a firm bed and the mattress was amazing. Super comfy but had the support I needed. Helped my spine issues and nerve pain. I purchased same bed and it arrived on Nov 22, 2022. I noticed how lightweight it was. NOT the same quality or firmness. I contacted customer service right away and was told same bed as one I bought before i was tokd to go online and state I had slept on mattress for 30 days. So ***** told me to lie, commit fraud, and void any contract. Please have mattress picked up and refund my credit card.
