Yesterday made my third visit to ******** Hair Braiding. While they take nearly 12 hours to finish braids, I've always been happy with the results and will forego the copious amount of time it takes to finish. The previous two times I visited ********, I paid $200 for knotless braids. The latter two times, I brought my own hair. The time before today, I brought 2 bundles of human hair, and it wasn't enough, so they provided me with an extra bundle and agreed that $200 is fine. Today, I brought three bundles of human hair just to be sure it's enough. This morning at 9:30am, ****** asks me, "What did you pay last time...$250"? I said no, I paid $200, she says, "okay, okay that's fine." I did not start my hair till 10:30am and did not finish till 7:30pm. As soon as I finished, I asked the lady who did my hair, "How much should I pay," as the owner, ****** had left the salon. She asks the lady under ****** "******* ******," how much I should pay, she says, "pay whatever you paid last time." As they know, I have been here before for the same style. I hand her $200 in cash and go to the bathroom, and plan to tip through Zelle when I come back... as I was sitting for over 8 hours. I open the door and ******* is blocking the door saying, "You did not pay $200 last time, that has never been the price." I am at a lost for words and tell her to call her boss ******, and ****** suddenly has a different tune to her story and says she has never charged $200 and a spew of nonsense and lies and now wants $250. Because of Aissata's rude, hostile behavior, I refuse to pay that amount and ****** agrees to $30. I decide to put $5 on top of that and send it through Zelle and confirm that the name listed is her name, and then as I try to leave, she refuses to open the door because ***** hasn't sent it fast enough. To say the least, this behavior was disrespectful, disheartening, and namely, embarrassing, as I was painted to be a liar when I am a repeat customer. 0 stars if I could!
