      The company sent me the wrong item and then refused to give me a refund. Said they would only send me what I paid for once they received the item they mistakenly sent (which is illegal). They did not reply for weeks and when I did receive any customer service help it was incredibly rude. They ended up blocking me. Have to dispute with my card company.

      My order was received 5 weeks late (despite promising 5-7 day delivery) without any communication from the company. It also lacked personalization which I had paid for. When I reached out, they said the personalization machine had been broken (again, no communication on this fact) and offered a partial refund which I still have not received (several weeks later). The candle smells nice but the service stinks!

      I placed an order through Homesick, who accepted my money and then (1) never sent the item and (2) never responded to my multiple emails, sent over the course of several weeks. Absolutely nonexistent customer service and unethical behavior. I had to file a chargeback to get my money back.

      I ordered a candle, received it broken, and I emailed them multiple times for a replacement or refund. No response. I am now out almost $30. I am terribly disappointed with their lack of response to a customer complaint about their broken product.

      If something goes wrong with an order, this is who you might get to deal with!--------From: Homesick Support Date: 7/10/23 9:28 PM Hi X!Y here again - as a "youngster" this warms my heart as the BBB is commonly used for scams for elderly patrons. If you do some research you'll realize they prey on customers like yourself to leave bad reviews :( I'd definitely recommend some literature as you can go to www.yahoo.com and in their search engine please look up "BBB Scam Elderly Customers" as you'll see a good amount of articles.       Awful customer service. I had ordered a candle on 12/14/22, even paying a little extra for slightly expedited shipping in order to receive in time for a family white elephant party happening 10 days later on 12/24/22. When 12/20/22 came around and I still had received no shipping info (per their confirmation email to me: "not to worry, we typically fulfill orders within 2-5 business days), I emailed them politely asking for an update because I was concerned I did not receive shipping info yet and perhaps I should have chosen a more expedited shipping option. After about 6 more emails to them, each of them with a canned response promising feedback within 72 hours of the email, and more than two weeks later, I still have yet to receive a response at all from this company regarding the lack of communication, false promises, and terrible customer service surrounding an order that was not even shipped until more than two weeks later. When I looked into returning my order upon receipt for a refund, they wanted to refund me a fraction of what I spent because the candle was now out of season and marked down - I hadn't even received it yet! Save yourself the trouble and frustration - choose another company to oder a candle from. If you insist on purchasing Homesick candles, do so from a third party and not the company directly. Worst customer service experience ever. Even if I received a response that wasn't what I was hoping to hear (unexpectedly busy for the holiday demands, delays due to weather, etc.), it would have been better than being blatantly ignored for weeks. No problem from their end charging my card immediately though!
