I subscribed to a year of Codecademy pro in January of this year. I paid with a Klarna card, but Codecademy failed to charge the card in a timely manner because they foisted a 7 day free trial on me with no option to forego that. The Klarna card expired because Codecademy did not charge it in a timely manner. I then tried at least a dozen times over the past couple weeks to update the payment method to my debit card, but their website failed to let me update the card each time. I contacted their customer service multiple times about this issue and today (2/16) I was told that engineers were looking into it and that if updating my payment method still failed today, then they would arrange for me to pay in some other way than by updating my method on the glitching site. I tried twice again today to update the payment method and let the cs agent know. Just now, I received an email that Codecademy has canceled my subscription without my permission. I ordered the subscription because it was 50% off and I will not pay full price for this to sign up again just because this company can't keep their website from glitching. I expect to have my subscription reinstated with the discount that I am ***********.

I started a trial with Codeacademy and I canceled the service on 1/18/2023. Regardless they still charged me and for some reason there site says I never canceled and I have reached out to them. I am in a tight situation that I will do anything to get that money back because that money they stole from me. Prohibits me to pay for food or my bills. I am concerned that they will never reach out to me because of other complaints and other reviews of the site.

I paid for the real world projects but alot of them didn't work. I also had lessons not work and the lessons have timed out on me. I've tried to report the bugs but no one got back to me. There really isn't any help on the site. I only got help when I tried to get my money back at which they said they would not and went over only one project when I told them I had had multiple problems and bugs that I had reported. The last bug I reported was on 8/8. My project wasn't working. I reset the project and it still wasn't working. this was the second time that had happen so I know its not always my coding.
