    My CCleaner was upgraded to pro without my consent and they make it next to impossible to end or cancel it.

    I signed up for a free month long trial CCleaner, a program that helps clean and update your computer. It said I could cancel at anytime. After noticing it wasn't doing anything I tried contacting them about canceling the auto-renewal. The site said it would take a couple days to responde and it has since been almost 2 weeks with no response, nothing in spam either. They have now charged me for a year long subscription. After checking the forum to see if I could get help there I became aware that many people are having the same issue and are claiming the company has scammed them as well. I can't log into an account to do anything since I have to have a reference number which I was never given and when I try the "find my account" option it tells me my email is not in system.

    I signed up for a free trial for ********************************************* so now I can't manage my account, so after the trial period it's going to charge me. I want to get this squared up before that happens. No one is answering any sort of emails, social media, or anything.

    On October 13 2024, Pirform charged me for ccleaner even though they state they dont charge monthly. I reached out via email to their customer service on October 16 and asked for a refund. I received an automated response that my inquiry had been received and they would contact me soon. Havent heard from them since. Sent 3 follow up emails on Nov 2, 2024, Nov 13 2024, and Jan 8 2025, and have still not been contacted.

    My name is ***** ********. I am a disabled senior citizen. Piriform, **** has been repeatedly attempting theft and fraud against me by continuing to charge me for items that I never ordered. Their theft and fraud has caused some of my medical conditions to be exacerbated, which my doctors and attorney will testify to if necessary. Piriform's most recent attempt at theft and fraud occurred on 9/3/24 for the amount of $39.95. The account number they claimed is *****************, their previous attempts at theft and fraud were on 8/15/24 for the same amount of money, claim number *********.On that same day, Piriform charged me another $39.95 for the same product, claim number **********Piriform did this again on 8/4/24 for the same amount, claim number *********. And, again for the same amount on 7/16/24, claim number *********.And, again on 7/12/24 for the same amount, claim number *********.And, again on 6/24/24 for the same amount, claim number *********.I sent Piriform an email about this on 9/4/24 with no response as of yet.That said, my attorney has instructed me to provide Piriform with five business days to refund my money in full, cancel any and all products they are claiming that I purchased, and delete all of my personal records.Failure to comply will leave us no choice but to contact the Attorney General and all other appropriate government agencies, all applicable social and news media outlets, and file a lawsuit for costs plus damages.

    On January 3, 2024, I paid $79.95 to renew a 2-year license for a ********************** ** cleaning tool called CCleaner. As far back as March 18, 2023, while still under warranty, the purchased product failed to update drivers on my **--telling me updates were installed and to reboot, but as soon as the ** is rebooted, the product keeps prompting me to update the EXACT same drivers again. I have downloaded multiple log files to diagnose the problem, which the outsourced company techs either keep losing, claim were not sent, or block me from uploading new logs as Support email claims not to be working (UNDELIVERABLE)According to the terms of the license, 'If you have an active paid CCleaner subscription, priority support means that we make every effort to prioritize your email requests and queries. It's a benefit that's not available to the free users of our products." In fact, this pledge is a baldfaced lie, as nothing has been prioritized for ONE FULL YEAR, the problem PERSISTS, and the low-quality support team keeps ignoring emails asking what is going on and why my warranty is being IGNORED. Support tickets opened under #******** - FU #******** - COMPLAINT #******** are never answered, and all I get from this wretched company is more invitations to renew early or spend more money on shoddy products, but never ANY SOLUTION to an ongoing ONE-YEAR PROBLEM.This nonsense has gone on long enough.

    Piriform promised a $40 rebate within 30 days of purchase of their Ccleaner software. It has been well over 30 days and they have not issued a rebate. They also have not responded to several emails to their support team. They should keep their promise and give me the $40 rebate they promised

    Unfortunately, the business would not respond to several emails prior to my BBB complaint. After my complaint, I received my $40 rebate. Thank you, BBB, for helping consumers get what they are promised and encouraging businesses to do the right thing.

    Software for PC was purchased over a year ago and never used. I tried to log in to change the auto renewal, but the site was gone. They charged my card and I tried to call the 800 number on my bank statement only to have it refer to a website for refund. I filled out the form to get the refund and I got a dialogue box that says only manual submission through customer service will get my refund. There is no way of calling customer service. I submitted an email saying that I am submitting a complaint to the BBB for a full refund. I researched ****** and found 2 numbers to call. I called both the numbers only to find both those numbers are no longer in service and there isn't a website to log into. I have attached the invoice they sent.

    I have a one year subscription of ******** and tried to cancel through the app as directed only to see, oops were not able to find your license details right now. Tried to communicate directly with online support only to be directed to FAQ page. No telephone support so contact with company is impossible. Even though my current subscription expires on 4-1-23, I was charged ***** on 3-2-23 by ***************** ref no. ********* for new subscription. Tried calling ************ ************ only to be directed to website, so no way to speak to actual person, same as Ccleaner. Sent request for refund to ************ and will be waiting for their response. I should not have to spend this much time jumping through all these hoops to cancel my subscription with no way to speak to a company rep even though there is a phone number that is useless because you can't speak to anyone and all you hear is a recording directing you to a website.
