We went to see a concert that was billed as ******************* In Reverse. We arrived at the venue, checked in, & got a good spot near the stage & were chatting with other attendees when one said that Falling In Reverse wouldn't be performing. I thought he was joking since I hadn't received any notification of a cancellation, so I got out my phone & found out that Falling In Reverse had canceled their appearance 4 days prior. We were unfamiliar with the first two bands so we listened to them, and then left before the last band, Disturbed, played, as we did know Disturbed and do not enjoy their music and had intended to leave after Falling In Reverse played from the outset. I contacted ****************** after the show, stating that a refund is the least of what we were owed, since we had traveled 4 hours each way, paid for a hotel, dog boarding, & parking, all for a concert that was NOT what we had paid for, & they had had 4 days to notify ticket holders of the ******************* failed to do so. They both told me that I needed to contact Ledge Entertainment as they were the promoter of the show. I contacted *********** told me that I could not get a refund because Falling In Reverse was not the headliner & the show still went on. With 4 days notice, we could have resold our tickets, canceled our *********** boarding, & spent a great day in Fargo partying for the ******** Derby & enjoying the show at The Aquarium that night, but instead we wasted a lot of money on a pointless trip & a completely RUINED day. I repeatedly asked Ledge Ent why they did not send out an e-mail about the cancellation when they had sent out multiple e-mails about venue policies, check-in procedures, etc. in the days prior to the ************ refused to answer. I believe this failure to inform ticket holders of a headliner canceling in an attempt to trick people into attending an event that they no longer wanted to attend is straight-up fraud & a refund is the LEAST of what we deserve.

Disturbed was the headliner of this event as is listed in the ticket that was purchased. All event advertising materials (logo/photo) listed referenced support at 75% size of headliner listing. As with all concerts in ******* all support is subject to change. Purchasers were notified that support artist cancelled their appearance on May 2 at 2:00PM CST. Notifications by the artist, venue, radio, promoter social platforms, radio announcements and signs posted on door the evening of the event. ******** attended event via record of ticket scan.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

    [Your Answer Here]

The business's claim that "Purchasers were notified that support artist cancelled their appearance on May 2 at 2:00PM CST" is a LIE! I request that they provide evidence of that notification! Social media posts like those that they provided are NOT notifications at all! As per *****************************: Notify: "to give formal notice to." A notification is given to someone, it is NOT something they have to look around for and find themselves. I spend almost no time on social media so the likelihood of me seeing any post is extremely small. It is NOT a ticket holder's responsibility to scour social media daily to try to find updates to an event that they are attending. I generally attend around 100 concerts a year and e-mail updates about things like time changes, venue changes, and, of course, cancellations are absolutely standard. Of the group of people in the crowd that we were talking to before the show, only ONE man knew that Falling In Reverse was not performing, and he is the one who informed ** of that fact after we were already in the venue. Were there signs on the doors? I don't know but I certainly didn't see them and clearly the other people that we were talking to didn't either. We came through the skyway from the parking ramp so we never entered any outer doors so we would not see such signs. And doesn't it seem like a sign on the door notifying concert goers of a cancellation is a LITTLE late when there was FOUR days to notify them?! Also the business's claim that "All event advertising materials (logo/photo) listed referenced support at 75% size of headliner listing" is 100% true because as you can CLEARLY SEE from the file that I attached to my original complaint, Beartooth and *******'s logos are smaller, but Disturbed and Falling In Reverse's logos are smaller because they were support but Disturbed and Falling In Reverse's logos are the SAME SIZE because they were co-headliners (right up until Falling In Reverse canceled)! Easy enough to change online graphics after the fact, but that photo I attached from the initial announcement CLEARLY showing the two headliners' logos the same size proves by the business's own admission that the support acts' logos were smaller in advertising that Falling In Reverse was INDEED a co-headliner initially. This was a special event in the midst Disturbed off of their headline tour with Theory Of ******* and bringing them together with Falling In Reverse who were between two headline tours. There is no question whatsoever that Falling In Reverse was a draw and not merely a support act. I ask again and request an answer from the business: WHY WAS AN E-MAIL NOT SENT TO TICKET PURCHASERS NOTIFYING ** OF THE CANCELLATION!? In the thousands of concerts I have attended over the years, I have never once requested a refund previously, nor have I ever filed a BBB complaint before, but I have ABSOLUTELY NEVER seen an event promoter behave so shamefully!

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

You did NOT receive my "response to confirm this complaint has been resolved" because the complaint has not been resolved! You say that "The business addressed the issues within the complaint," but this is not true. They have NEVER addressed why ticket holders were not notified that Falling In Reverse cancelled their appearance when they had four days to do so! I am still waiting to hear what possible reason there was that we were not notified of that cancellation. The only reason I can think of is that they did NOT want us to know that FiR cancelled so that we would continue to attend the concert under fraudulent pretenses assuming that the show would go on as originally advertised. I have also supplied hard evidence that they lied in their addressal of their complaint that Falling In Reverse was not a co-headliner in that they explicitly stated in their response to my initial complaint that all support acts' names and logos were 75% of the size of headline acts, and I provide a photo of the initial advertising that clearly showed Disturbed and Falling In Reverse's logos were the same size as they were co-headliners and Beartooth and *******'s names were smaller because they were support act, so by their own admission Falling In Reverse was a co-headliner, and they refused to address that issue within the complaint also, so that is another "issue within the complaint" that has NOT been addressed. I do not consider this complaint to have been resolved BY ANY MEASURE until they actually do address these "issues within the complaint" which they have REFUSED to address despite being asked numerous times.

    Thank you,
