I enrolled in the program January 17, 2024. When I enrolled in the program I was not aware of all of the additional fees that were to be assessed in order to complete the program. When I signed off on the agreement it was my understanding that all of the materials would be provided and I would be liable for the cost if I started the program (i.e. started course work). I would not have enrolled if it was clearly stated that the cost were going to be billed to me as long as I enrolled and it didn't matter if I completed any work or not. Nor would I have enrolled if it was clearly stated that I would be forced to join a fictitious national membership, which in turn is actually the same company. I have reached out to the company in hopes of refund, but more concerned about owing a company that I do not want to take courses with due to the deceit. Since this company is adamant about not giving me a refund, I would like for the amount that would be owed to them not billed since I have no intention on pursuing any certifications from them.

Thank you for bringing this concern to our attention. We appreciate your diligence in reaching out to discuss the matter.

Upon careful review, it is important to note that the student, through the completion of our application, explicitly agreed to the terms stated, which include acknowledging the possibility of additional costs for items such as textbooks, application materials, formal assessment by the ************************************, and other related expenses. For a comprehensive understanding of these terms, please refer to ***********************
Additionally, you can revisit the terms agreed upon during the application process at ************************

We remain dedicated to supporting the student in achieving her original goal of obtaining national CDA certification, which entails the successful completion of the 120-hour class she initially enrolled in, as per the agreed-upon terms.

We look forward to the students continued participation in our program and are available to provide any further clarification or assistance required.

I enrolled in the *** program with ************* on September 26th. Very soon after enrolling, I fell into an unpredicted housing situation, and I could not afford to follow with the payment plan. I reached out to the instructor via email to request unenrollment and the stop of further payments due to my situation. She redirected me to the "refund committee". After emailing them the same thing I emailed her, they eventually got back to me and told me that I entered the agreement and that I have to continue with payments anyway. I made it very clear that I did not want a refund for what I already paid ($50 application fee and $170 materials) . I just wanted them to unenroll me and stop payments. Now I am locked into this very shady business that I don't even want further services from.

Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to respond to this feedback. The students enrolled in our payment plan program, and the terms are listed here at **********************. As clearly stated in the terms, you can discontinue coursework, but you were still responsible for all tuition payments in full. Our coursework is self paced, and students are afforded one year to complete 120 hours of training. We are hopeful the client will continue her coursework to attain her initial goal of receiving the ************************** Associate credential.

************ deducted $460 from my bank account I have never taken a class there or enrolled in their program. I called several times to get a solution but the secretary says no one is available to speak to. I have emailed the issue as instructed by the secretary more than once and they respond wanting my start date of class and information about my enrollment, which I dont have because I have never taken a class there. I have reached out to every available contact and no one is willing to even talk to me let alone refund my money. No manager on site absolutely no one but a secretary answering the phone that has no information about anything.

Thank you so much for bringing this to our attention and allowing us time to respond. The student completed our online application and picked the payment plan option on Nov 16 2022. Here are the terms she agreed to with this online application: **********************. When the student picks the payment plan option they are responsible for making all tuition payments for the class; regardless if they complete/participant in the class. We are hopeful this student will consider completing her original goal of ************************** Associate (CDA) obtainment.

After carefully reading the other complaints regarding the CDAcourse website, its a shame they have scammed us so badly. I was never interested in a refund until I NEVER received materials I ordered, and finding out the course is not credited in my state, as claimed. I plan on taking legal action if this is not resolved. I have emailed *******, only to ever receive an automated message, or nothing at all.Over ***** of my hard earned money as given to people in hopes of furthering my education, only to be scammed and never receive what was supposed to be given to me.

The student received the electronic textbook with a password. This was sent to her email ************************** and her textbook password is **************** to get into the textbook on 12/30/2021 at **** AM EST. If she would need another copy of this email sent to her again she can email ********************* her assigned instructor, and she can send her another copy of this email. She can get into her textbook at any time with the website provided and this password.

The student was mailed her application packet directly from the *** Council. If she needs tracking information for this material shipped from ************* she should email ******************** with the invoice information and ******* and provide *** tracking information which will include the date of delivery.

Our nationally recognized ***************** Associate (***) program is accepted in all 50 US states; including the state in which this student resides. We have helps tens of thousands obtain their national *** credential with thousands within this state.
We have researched all emails that were sent by the student to ******* with a total of 5 emails during the class and all were replied to by her assigned instructor within 1 business day. If she has an email that was not replied she should email ****************** today and our admin team can review and comment as needed. ******* resent her responses to the five emails (using two different email addresses this student used during class) in the last week so the student has all responses again for her files.

Again, we show that the student received all needed materials, and the instructor replied to all emails within 1 business day. Additionally, we are a nationally recognized program. We encourage this student a complete class and meet her original goal of national *** obtainment.

I registered for this class on May 30 2022, the website stated my first payment of 160$ will be due the first of every month. Since I enrolled, I have done more research and decided that I would like to obtain my CDA elsewhere, as I began a job that provides that training for a lower cost. I began emailing this company to request that I withdraw from the course, which it states on the website I am able to cancel at anytime. After requesting that I cancel my enrollment I was responded to with an email weeks later stating that I am ineligible for a refund, when I asked that I was just unenrolled as I have not made any payments yet. I emailed them back then began contacting other emails from this company requesting someone to contact me about canceling my registration. I was responded to with automatic emails with information that had nothing to do with what I emailed them about. After emailing 3 people and not one person helping me with my exact issue, I found a phone number to contact. When I called I was told the admin was busy and would call back at a later time, I then got an email from the admin saying that I had to file a refund request after I specifically mentioned that I already submitted that. I called again and asked to speak to someone on the phone and was told I would get a call back and I have not received a call. Finally I received an automated email from my instructor again stating that I would have to submit a refund request and that they do not handle any situations over the phone. I replied saying that I already submitted a request and I received an email stating I requested a clarification on the terms and conditions. I have not started any course work for this class, and I have only paid a $25 registration fee which I understand I will not get refunded. I find It is very unprofessional I cannot speak to anyone on the phone about this, nor can I receive an actual response from a person to actually help me and not just an automated email.

Thank you so much for bringing ********* complaint to our attention. ******* completed our online application at www.************/cdaapp and agreed to our terms as shown at www.************/terms. As stated in the terms:

"Students who choose the payment plan option are not eligible for a refund."

Every time ******* called our administrative assistance informed her the refund request must be made via email and she was transferred to our refund voicemail that reviews how to request via email.

Our refund committee received and reviewed ********* email asking for a refund. Since she picked the payment plan option she is not eligible for a refund. This was communicated to her in writing via email. We encourage ******* to continue with her original goal of *** completion and obtainment.

    Customer Answer

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

    [Your Answer Here]

I did email the admin, and I was responded with an automatic email giving different people to contact. I emailed the refund committee and my assigned teacher and again received automatic emails that had nothing to do with what I was asking. When I emailed each email I was given I clearly explained that I did not need a refund as I have not made any payments yet. I just requested that I would be unenrolled from your course. It states on your website if I am unhappy with the course that I can unenroll at anytime. I have not even started any course work, or made a payment I simply just want to unenroll. Each time I emailed I was responded with auto generated responses and was never able to actually speak to someone about my inquiry which I find is very unprofessional. When I called your customer service line I was told 3 different times someone would call me back and I never received any calls.

In order for the BBB to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Thanks again for the chance to comment.

The student can discontinue or complete coursework. The choice is hers. We hope she will meet her original goal with us of CDA obtainment. As the terms stated when she enrolled, we supplied in our last response and at www.************/terms: student is responsible for payments regardless if she completes assignment assignments or not.

Thanks again for the opportunity to respond. We are hopeful the student will meet her original goal of national CDA obtainment with our organization but understand if she does not want to continue. Student is responsible for payments per the agreement and terms. Her instructor is eager to assist her through the process if she would like to continue.
