I registered for their virtual event associated with their ********* conference on April 5th, and first contacted Digimarcon to get the agenda and speaker information because it wasnt published on their site. I was told conflicting information:** was told that this information is posted 2-3 months before the event. This was 2 weeks before the event. ** was told by one of their employees, *********************, that it would be posted in a few days which was also not accurate. ** was told that they were experiencing technical difficulties and thats why the information wasnt posted. The information was finally posted, the Saturday before this Monday-Tuesday event. I was not able to log in to the live stream event when I should have been able to, and was contacting someone not even at the event to try to figure this out. Eventually I figured out ON MY OWN, to log in as a guest instead of a registered user, despite being registered. ***** said, why should I have had to pay when this was freely accessible to the public?!Not accessible for deaf/hard of hearing virtual attendants. oNo closed-captioning options. oNobody ******* the Q&A box and answering questions. oSound cut out multiple times within the first couple of hours. oCould not hear audience members questions. They had a wi-fi microphone to make this possible, and it only worked sporadically. oThere were two projectors, which were out of focus and impossible to read. There seemed to be nobody ******* the camera, as the speaker would walk to one side of the stage and the camera didnt follow them. My employer paid for me to attend this event and if I knew it was going to be like this I would NOT have registered for this event. At no time was it clear who to contact for this event. I contacted ******************************* MULTIPLE times and never received a response from that email address. I am EXTREMELY disappointed and want my employer to get their money back.
