      I purchased 2 Team Take Down ******** party packages from The Black Onyx Travel group mid/Fall 2023. Minus any late fees, admin, and race fees, I paid $686 for each for the party pack only, total $1,372. We did not at all get what we paid for whatsoever. We were misled that the lua would be just for Team Take Down (assumed on a beach). That is not what we got. After sitting idle for almost an hr after start time we were led to a ************* where many ppl outside of our group had already taken all of the good seats and we were given 1 ticket for a drink. The drinks were nasty and this again is not the lua experience sold to us. We then were sold a day party that was a complete joke. No place was secured until last minute. They did not serve ********* was again not just for our group. We got one $12-13 ticket for food at spoke place that had limited options. Not edible- 2 drink tickets. Finally last minute we ventured to a comedy show with finger foods and very small side plates to where we had to eat in our lap. Worst investment and experience. During trip, I had a long talk w/owner where she admitted trip was a ************** would have "to do something" to make it right even if she had to come out of her own pockets. But she claimed that she was awaiting refund from one of the hotels - which I later was advised this was a lie. She left convo to make me believe some refunds of some sort would be coming. Tried to reach her and she claimed she was traveling- months have passed and I have been more than patient in awaiting a remedy. I am asking for a refund of at least $750 of the $1,372. I am not accepting travel credits, only a credit to my debit/credit card. I have DM'd, text. called business and personal # and emailed. No response, which happened previously - lack of communication. At this point this is bad business and unacceptable. It was admitted and obvious there was no cohesive organization of this trip and many are in my very same shoes. This is a pattern.
