I was contacted by someone on ******* claiming to be from Deloitte. I have never heard of the company and did research. I contacted the company multiple times. Gave the information I had and never heard from anyone. I wasn't even told if that person worked there. They promised that they could get me up 1500 dollars from the company. I even found the number for the *** and left a voice mail and never heard back.

It is my belief that the business is running an employment scam via LinkedIn. I applied for the position and was contacted by a recruiter for an initial screening. The recruiter told me that the base pay was a different amount than was listed on the official website posting. I was then told that the next email I would receive would be to schedule an interview, however, the next email I received asked me to set up an account with 2 factor authentication and complete an employment application. This is where I started to find it strange, since I obviously completed an employment application to get the ball rolling. However, I humored the company and this request. Next, I received an email sayig my profile was complete and asking me to click on a link to have access to the application. This link led to, not the Deloitte website, but a ********* website, asking me to enter the email address and password that I just created. Not surprisingly, I was told that my pw wasnt recognized and offered to reset it. I believe that the scam asks users to reset their ********* password, and if they do, the scammers then have access to their computers which is where most people have to login with a ********* account and password. This leaves the application t open to having all of their computer files made available to the scammer, including baking information amongst other things. Another indication that this is a scam is that the posting is no longer on LinkedIn, which is extremely odd. Its not listed as a position that I applied for or even an archived position. This company should definitely be investigated. Thankfully, I did not change my password, but I do think that other people may fall for this and potentially end ** in a compromising position. If its any help, the recruiter that I spoke with was named *********************. She is found on LinkedIn but hasnt been active. The scam is set up in such a way where some things are valid and others are not so that its believable.

I filed for unemployment back in July 2021 and was told that a handful of claimants have been affected by a system error where our payments were stuck and not released to our banks to be paid out. I was told on numerous occasions over the past year that my funds were released and will be deposited, which never happened. I recently spoke with ******** unemployment again on 9/23/2022 and was finally advised that there are 91 of us affected and that for the past year NOTHING has been done to correct this issue and that it is out of unemployment's hands and that the company hasn't yet even made 1 attempt to fix what is wrong to get us our money. I was told that they are supposed to be correcting the issue and pushing through our information manually. I was finally given the name of the company and was told to do as I wish with this information. So, I am writing to have someone get to the bottom of this to correct the issue so that I can be paid out what I am owed, which is $6,513.00. My claim ID is #******.
