On 11/16/2022 I tried to access my account with Gemini. I received a message that my password was expired. I was then instructed how to gain access to my account. The agent I was communicating with was very fast to respond. I received a ticket number: *******. I completed the instructions, but since then I have not heard back from Gemini. I followed up twice since then, but received no reply. I used Gemini to buy cryptocurrencies and they have about $15K of my assets. I have no access to my funds.Business Response

Over the past year I put $6,000 into buying GUSD, Gemini stable coin that advertises its Stable and Fully Backed. GUSD1 is a 1:1 USD-backed stablecoin issued by Gemini. I then put that money into the Gemini Earn Program. I made $220 in interest. Now they have frozen my money. I was under the assumption that it was very safe and never was told I can lose it all. Would you put $,6000 in an account to make $220 dollars in interest if you knew you could lose it all? If you read the company website they say all over how safe it is and your funds are fully backed. GUSD it self is still trading at $1.00. How are they still in business and still advertising to buy their products and use their website ? I have filled out several complaints with Gemini Support only to get the same auto response emails back saying they are working on it. No way of contacting anyone there. Furthermore you cant find any info on their website about the Earn Program now. Only thing I can find now on there is a Page saying PROGRAM RISKS: YOU ACCEPT THE RISK OF LOSS ASSOCIATED WITH LOAN TRANSACTIONS, UP TO, AND INCLUDING, TOTAL LOSS OF YOUR AVAILABLE DIGITAL ASSETS. Call me stupid but I was totally not at all aware of that. How is it possible that they can just take my $6,000 dollars which I supposedly made only $220 in interest from? Ive have lost thousands in investing in crypto coins and that I can accept because it was my fault for investing in it myself but I believed this to be a safe secure way to make a little interest. Whether they have changed the website or not I have no idea of knowing now. I was for sure not made aware of the risks. This will severely impact my life, I needed that money to get my teeth fixed so that I can goto back to work, not too mention the pain I am in now. I cannot believe people can just take your money like that ? And WHY are they still in business? I know you are gonna tell me its my fault and the money is lost. Any help would be appreciated. This is my account setup with Gemini for trading and Crypto and now I was trying to withdraw my cash from three weeks. They blocked all withdrawals and regardless of my several emails requesting for update for withdrawal they were sending automated email to do more wire transfer for withdrawal. Three weeks ago I opened up an account with Gemini and transferred $1000 to buy Ethereum to make some purchases with it. I waited 3 days for my funds to clear but when I try to withdraw a small amount of my Ethereum I only get a message that their security team needs to review the transaction. I contacted support (ticket ID ******** and was asked to take a selfie with the date and my ticket id written down. After that nothing happened and I've been checking in with support every few days via email and also through their their ******* support account. No response at all. First, my goal is to return to full functionality of my exchange account and reactivating my credit card for use immediately. On 11/18/2022 I learned that my Gemini exchange account was unable to transfer my crypto assets to approved wallets due to a security hold on my account. I also learned that my new Gemini credit card was suspended, which reportedly was due to the exchange security hold. I completed the required task of uploading a selfie with the date and ticket number: ******* the day I finally received instructions from the ineffective email communication, ********************************* I wrote this support email daily and called daily the Gemini credit card for solutions and instructions on hire to resolve these issues. It has now been over two weeks. This resulted in late charges on scheduled auto withdrawals linked to the credit card, in addition to general nuisance. To protect my money I was able to liquidate my crypto assets, ask but one, and initiate withdrawal of cash. I also reduced security to ease management of my assets to try and avoid more sending actions from Gemini ****** to new crypto wallets. Finally, I paid the small balance on my credit card in good faith hoping this might help clear any suspicions Gemini may have had. Again, my aim is to simply have full function, without nuisance security holds, on my exchange account, AND activation of my Gemini credit card. My name is ********************************I have all of my life savings through this exchange. This is an earn account and I have an open account with them for over 15 months now. My current balance is ********* dollars. I withdrew my money last 11/14 and only $1 went through, the remaining balance is still pending. It shows that funds are available by 11/22 or earlier. On 11/16 they announced that they will pause all withdrawals because they need to figure out something with ******* (their lending partner). I have reached out to them many times. I kept getting automated response through their email. I have not being able to sleep, I cannot afford to lose my money.
