I never shop at ****** but recently found myself there...wanted to buy a number of items...decided to sign up on the spot for a ****** card, and since the sales *** told me that ALL ITEMS PURCHASED THAT DAY WOULD RECEIVE 20% OFF. Only AFTER I'm rung up does the *** explain that.....I won't see the discount until I receive my first statement from ******. The discount will NOT appear on my sales receipt. Naturally, my SCAM radar immediately went up. WHY would the discount NOT appear right away, on the sales receipt??? But the *** 'assured me', I'd get a 20% discount. Two days later, I get a text from ****** telling me to 'register' my new card, but then when I go online, it won't LET me register yet, because - naturally - I've not yet received my actual card in the ******* I call the ****** 'customer service' #, and, yup, you guessed it....I got a robotic sounding *** in the *********** or somewhere. And they just went on and on and on, just like a robot reading from a manual. Rotten customer service. And I'll go BALLISTIC if, once I get my first statement, I see that ****** is playing some type of game regarding the 20% discount. They have no idea who they are messing with. ;-)
