On May 26, 2025, World Education Services (***) received all of my required academic documents for an official credential evaluation. Their website clearly states that evaluations are completed within 2 to 4 weeks after receiving all documentation. Today is June 23, 2025, and my case is now in week 5, with no update, no timeline, and no resolution.Throughout this time, I have made over 12 phone calls and sent 4 formal emails through their system, all of which are recorded in my account. I have asked for clarification, updates, or escalation. No one has taken responsibility for the delay. Each response (when I get one) is vague, scripted, and unhelpful.This evaluation is critical for my immigration status and directly impacts time-sensitive legal processes. I cannot move forward with my **** or employment paperwork until *** completes their work. Their silence and inaction are now putting my future at serious risk.*** has failed to deliver the service I paid for, within the time they promised, and they are ignoring all reasonable attempts at communication. I had hired World Education Services (***) on 4/12/2025 for a Credential evaluation report for my overseas high school and college degrees. *** was expected to provide the completed report within 4-6 weeks as per their website. Despite having provided them all the required documents promptly they have failed to provide me the completed report. This has caused a severe setback of at least 3 months in the start my University course. Upon reaching out to their **************** multiple times and escalating this issue by opening a ticket, there is no progress on this matter. The **************** is very poor and unable to provide any updates. *** charged me $293 for their services and $104 was charged for overseas certificate verification totaling to $397. It has been 10 weeks and there is no resolution on this matter. I need my sealed transcripts sent to me for a job I'm applying for and when I spoke to them (***) about getting them sent they said if I upgrade my service I would get free shipping on the transcripts. So I ended up paying $187 for this upgrade and they said they shipped the 3 transcripts in early May. It was supposed to arrive around May 14, nothing showed up. In a separate attempt to get what I need I paid another $60 for *** delivery of 1 copy of my transcript and that was supposed to arrive May 25. Again nothing. They just pass the **** and don't provide any kind of actual resolution. Their customer service is complete ****.What I want is my money back and I want them to send us (rushed with tracking included) at least 4 copies of the transcripts. I want the 4 copies I originally asked for. Their poor customer response and service is truly appalling. Mainly I just want the copies we requested. I want it for free to make up for the pain and suffering endured. Right now I was offered and accepted the job I applied for on the condition that the transcripts be provided before I start work. If I lose the job because *** can't deliver these transcripts I will be coming after them for way more than $247. On May 8/2025 I ordered a copy of my evaluation report to be mailed to the employer, I paid $47 processing fees and standard shipping rate. On May 12, I was shocked it hadn't been even processed, I called customer service, they didn't know what was going on, then they said oh it's a glitch in the system on your account, they fixed it the next day but never sent the report!!! we called again, submitted more than two tickets to their customer service, they said they can send it by *** ground that takes 3-5 days to deliver but I have to pay $18 more. I said OK since I need this for the employment offer, everything is pending waiting for this report and I don't have much time. I paid on May 12, money was withdrawned but no shipping initiated. The account shows shipped May 15th, I checked the tracking today May 19th to be sure it's delivered, IT HASN'T BEEN SHIPPED YET!!!!!!! only the label was created!!!!!!! I called customer service, they didn't let me talk to the supervisor but I insisted, I stayed on the line until she accepted to take my call!! she didn't have anything to say except you can submit a ticket! I asked for a refund or an overnight shipping on their expense since it's their mistake but she refused, saying that she doesn't have the authority to do so! I have no clue what else I should do! I'm losing the job if the report is not delivered ****. The latest starting day that I was given a chance to catch up to at work is June 2nd, everything is being on hold until they get this report. This is my first job, I worked so hard to secure it and *** are making me lose this opportunity because of their unprofessional customer service, and weak management.This whole thing started May/8/2025 and it's May/19/2025, nothing has been done other than them asking for, accepting and processing payments!!! with no service in return. I started my application for an educational evaluation from World Education Services in January of 2025 as a part of the process to apply for Express Entry to *******The first issue I encountered was in getting any of the transcripts from my educational institutions delivered to ***. It took several weeks for *** to even acknowledge that they had received the transcripts, and I had to send them multiple times. I submitted several help tickets and spoke on the phone to customer service. The second issue is derivative of the first- I realized that the reason why one of my transcripts could not be found was because I had put the wrong institution name on my application. I have attempted to fix this issue on my application three times- twice via their email ticket system and once by phone. Whenever I submit help tickets via the email system, I only receive generic responses from an email address entitled ********************* When I speak to customer service on the phone, they tell me that they are not able to make changes to my application or access my documents. When I ask to speak to the "internal team" who actually handles the applications and the documents, I am told that the only way to reach them is via the email ticket system. I have not been able to speak to any representatives who actually handle my application or my account. In addition, when I speak with customer service on the phone they are degrading and rude. The agents have told me that I have obviously done something wrong, or that I need to be more specific with my email ticket requests. When I ask for an explanation of how submitting additional help tickets will solve the problem, they do not provide any specifics.This lack of access to the appropriate customer service representatives has delayed my ability to apply for immigration by several months. I would like the business to contact me with the correct people, or refund my money so I can begin an evaluation with a different company.Business Response

By March 25, *** contacted me and said they received my documents from NY school and will begin to process my evaluation with a complete date by Apri 7, 2025. I was able to expedite the process and got a completion date of April 1, 2025. I paid for express shipping 3-5 days and it is now April 16, and I still haven't received my package nor is there any update on the tracking in over a week. Dear BBB,I am writing to file a formal complaint against World Education Services (***) for a delay in the delivery of an official academic credential evaluation report that was paid for and expected to be delivered within the promised timeframe.On March 31, 2025, I submitted and paid for a duplicate evaluation report through the *** platform. I spent $163 for me to get my international diploma evaluated by *** on December 7th, January 8th they said my transcript was evaluated and it was shipped out. Weeks passed and I didnt receive my transcript so I called them. They told me I needed to email them which I did and I never got a helpful response, instead they are saying I needed to order a duplicate order. We are now in April and I never got my transcript or even a refund for my Inconvenience. I reached out to the post office and they said that since the order doesnt have a tracking number it is *** responsibility to send a new one or give me a refund since it wasnt insured. I am tired of fighting with them and it is not fair to me to spend so much money on something that I never received. They are very unprofessional and do not care about my deadline or money that I have spent. On March 30th I ordered another duplicate because I got a call from a school that I applied to and they needed my transcript in order for them to move forward and I can be accepted for summer classes, I paid extra for priority shipping and they have yet to ship out the transcript, which ***** because I missed the deadline and I have to wait until the fall to register. Yes, I have disputed the charge with my bank, as I refuse to pay for an item that I NEVER received. Despite reaching out multiple times for assistance regarding my order, I received no support.
