I started visiting this office in Dec 2022. I went for about ***** treatments for *** at their ************ I was told I didn't have out of pocket expense as insurance would cover. I started receiving emails from some company named ***** which stated a loan was taken out in my name. I never signed or applied for a loan. I have great health insurance which my insurance company said they requested additional information from this place, but never received an answer. When I went back to the office in Manhattan to tell them to submit additional information to my insurance company for payment and to question them about the loan, I was told, they abruptly packed up and ran out of town, leaving no forwarding address or information. I don't want this supposed loan to impact my credit as I never put in for one. I assume, they never intended on collecting from my insurance company and put in for this loan as a get paid quick scheme and hurt me at the end. Please look into this company if you can find them, their practices and if their doctors are even doctors. Their practices are unethical and should be reported to the Office of Professional and Medical Conduct.Initial Complaint

I was told after the ten treatments they would work things out with my insurance and I would get reimbursed. My insurance rejected the claim, and Manhattan Medical Associates' ************ never returned my calls or was available when I was there. Ten treatments that did nothing later, I'm on the hook for $ 3995, which I'm paying off monthly. They disappeared before my follow up visit scheduled for last month.Initial Complaint

I was told that my insurance will reimburse me for their services. It got denied and I was not reimbursed then I was told that they will eventually reimburse me after appealing their decision. All appeals got denied and I ended up having to pay a $3,995 bill. On 11-9-23 I started Acoustic wave treatment at MANHATTAN MEDICAL ASSOCIATES located at **************************I have paid $3,000 in full for ten treatments, so far the Acoustic wave treatment has not been affective. The doctor recommended that I do ten additional treatments. I did four additional treatments still to no affect. A total of 14 treatments, most of my treatments were on Monday 10:30am. I went there on Monday 5/20/24 for my 10:30am appointment no answered the door and they didn't pick up the phone l tried contacting several times last week no answer. *************Initial Complaint

I visited the clinic and was told that my insurance would cover the cost after ten visits. They initially charged me $100 for admission but said my insurance would reimburse me. Later, I got an email from a loan company called "Affirm" charging me $140.44 for the services. Still, the clinic owner assured me to disregard it as my insurance would cover the expenses by reimbursing me after ten visits.The office is promoting a solution for male erectile dysfunction, claiming that after 10 visits, the symptoms will be cured. Their treatment involves using machinery to scan blood vessels and a form of electroshock treatment to unblock blood vessels. They also sell numbing creams and various ointments to help improve blood flow to the genital area. However, the therapy was not successful, and I feel like I have been scammed. I had an appointment scheduled for the end of May 20th, 2024, for a council meeting. This was supposed to be my 10th and final meeting. Unfortunately, their offices are no longer open, and I have been unable to contact the owner or any employees. I even received charges for the last two months while not receiving any services.I want a refund and the loan company to stop hassling, and I am considering pressing charges.
