I purchased a set of Episodes from Hunt a Killer that were rather expensive. When trying to solve them, there is a website with an interactive feature needed to proceed. The interactive feature was not working at all and we could not even get past the first episode due to required information being unobtainable. I emailed the company several times since January. It took them a week to respond initially to which they said they would send the complaint to IT. The website was never fixed. I emailed multiple times over a 4 month period and received no further replies.

    Hi *****,

We sincerely regret that our responses have not reached you. Please be assured that our customer service team has responded to each of your inquiries in a timely manner.

Regrettably, Earth Break has been officially retired for several years. While certain online content remains accessible, it is no longer supported or maintained, and some features may no longer function as intended.

In early 2024, our organization underwent a merger with a new company. As part of that transition, the assets related to discontinued titles such as Earth Break were not included in the acquisition. Consequently, we no longer have the means to maintain or restore the associated content.

We sincerely regret any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.

I purchased a brand new "Tower Stack" game from ****** on September 21, 2024 for $12.78 (after store discount). After opening the game, it was clear that many game pieces were missing. When reaching out to the Relatable Co customer support email, they advised that they refused to rectify the situation. The Relatable Co suggested I return the product to ******. This is unacceptable as it is not a matter in which Target should be penalized or asked to fix the situation. It's also likely that any other game set replacement could also be missing pieces. The company should send customers replacement pieces and/or whole replacement game sets when they fail to provide the advertised product in the first purchase.

    Hi ******,

Thank you for reaching out and bringing this to our attention. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the missing pieces in your game. We understand how frustrating this can be, and we are committed to resolving the issue promptly.

Customer service will reach out to arrange to send you a replacement game as quickly as possible.

Thank you for your understanding, and we appreciate your support.

On June 23, 2020, my brother bought a "$165 monthly 6 month subscription" giftcard for my wife and I which we had not used yet while buying HK's other products.I visited the website earlier this month and did not see how to redeem so I reached out to HK customer service and they stated that HK was acquired earlier this year by "Relatable" and all outstanding giftcards were refunded to the purchaser before the acquisition. While checking with my brother, who purchased the card, I explained that a refund was not in fact issued, nor did he receive any communication from HK regarding this and requested further details. The response from HK was that they do not have access to those old files but would check with management. After almost two weeks of having to follow up twice more, I was told that the new company did not assume the debt when purchasing HK and they would not be making any accommodation to honor/refund the giftcard for a service that they are sunsetting while shifting to a dedicated retail shelf *********, obviously, this came as just such a slap in the face after I even provided the history of our two families being supporters of HK for many years that they would rather lose said customers than make them whole.More amazing still was my surprise when I came to the BBB website and saw an almost identical complaint filed against HK on 7/16/24. HK's response that was posted on 8/1/24 said they reached out to the consumer to set up the refund so I have no idea why, for two weeks, I was dragged through this back and forth while they refused to complete my identical resolution request. I have attached the same photos the other complaintent provided that show no such terms as to expiration on the giftcard, a photo of the order confirmation, a MS **** file of the email chain with HK support and a MS **** file of this description with extended details of the product and history.I hope BBB can be an advocate for my family and assist with the $165 refund.

I have been a long time fan and consumer of the Hunt a Killer games and episodes.I received a gift card for my birthday in 2022 from a family member that I have been unable to redeem due to the fact that I have had a lot of medical issues going on. I was not able to redeem the gift card within this timeframe. I went to the website last week to look at redeeming the gift card only to find that all episodes are sold out. When I reached out to customer service, I was informed that ********************** has been closed and has been bought out by another company, and I am unable to use my gift card now, not only due to the time that I have had the card but also that the new company is no longer offering subscriptions. I politely asked for a refund to be issued back to my family member and was told that this was not possible simply due to the time when the gift card was purchased. I do not accept this. I have worked in **************** for many years myself and know that there can be something done. I am seeking assistance with providing a refund of the amount of the gift card. I have attached a copy of the front and back of the gift card so that you can see that there is nowhere on the gift card where it says that the card was only valid for a certain amount of time. Thank you.
