    I was shopping at around 1pm on 7/20/2024. I came in to buy cat food and get cash back so I could continue my laundry. While trying to check out at self checkout I realized that I couldnt do cash back there. I asked the attendant at self checkout where I could do cash back, she told me at the staffed lane. I waited in line for a staffed checkout lane and when it was my turn the *** device was unable to Apple Pay. So I grabbed the item and headed back to self checkout. I completed my transaction grabbed my receipt and headed out. I got around the corner before 3 people from the store chased me down screaming that I didnt pay for the item. I showed my receipt and told the person talking to me outside that what he did was HORRIBLE and racist. I am an African American and have NEVER BEEN CHASED OUT OF A STORE IN MY LIFE. I am putting in a complaint now and will be contacting the store again directly because I have done NOTHING to indicate that I am a thief. Its 2023, this type of behavior is APPALLING and ILLEGAL.
