I have also been regularly contacted by Multiplan to accept a lower payment for claims as an independent provider. Each time I indicate that I never will want to accept lower payment and I keep getting contacted. Now I’m getting contacted to update my information with them.Claritev

James Abraham set me up with a policy called Multiplan Limited Benefit Plan but then it turned out to be this health group plus another dental plan and this American Business Association plan. When I learned later that day that this was just a discount plan and not an actual insurance, I attempted to call them the next morning where this rude woman, Patricia, answered. She refused to patch me through to an manager or another agent. Gave excuses, demanded my annual income and said I couldn't cancel for another 72 hours, despite the policy saying I could cancel within 30 days, no other specific time necessary. All I want is my due refund, which is the amount of the monthly premium. I know they keep my enrollment fee and I'm not asking for that. I just want my money back.
There are many names now throught my policy information claiming to be the agent who set me up but now I'm skeptical. This is a scam. They basically lied to me about everything and then is rude to me when I want to cancel.
As a single mother of a disabled child, I cannot afford to be out this money and I don't have the time to be treated so poorly by a company.
Patricia also told me she's the only employee, and refused to transfer me to anyone else and quite rudely said we could sit on the phone all day, she gets paid hourly.
ACCESSONE consumer health is one of the companies at the id cards. I will leave a review with every company associated with this until I'm refunded.Claritev

I'm sorry to hear what you are going through, you have not contacted nor spoken with MultiPlan. MultiPlan is a provider network, does not administer benefits, pay claims and has never sold any product to consumers. Please recheck your information as to who you entered into an agreement with...you mention "ACCESSONE", Please also look at your bank or credit card statements of who is withdrawing from your account and then file a complaint with documentation to the BBB or regulatory agencies such as your states Department of Insurance or ************************* if you see fit. We wish you all the best.Review fromJamie S

Horrible Company!!
I have been waiting on my refund for the cancellation of my policy since December 29th. I sent the email of the cancellation to the email address supplied to me by the terrible customer service. They said it was never received which is false and pretty convenient for them. I talked with the customer representative Tanya. I resent all the information from December 29th to her multiple times. She said it would be 30 days from february 14th and it has been more than that. They are very unprofessional. I will never use them again and urge anyone who is reading this to beware and look elsewhere. I will continue to file complaints as this has been a hardship financially on my family. I want my refund, they are withholding my money.Claritev

If I could give zero stars I would. I purchased this multi-plan for my son and then realized that none of the places he wanted to use it at would take this insurance so I canceled it after 3 days. I had to call them several times to get a refund but eventually I did. But the following month after canceling the plan they build me again for $835. I had to call them three times and each time I was assured I would be refunded and would receive a confirmation email stating this. I never received any email and never was refunded. I finally had to call my credit card company and get them involved to try and get the money back and I also had to cancel that credit card and get a new one issued which was a major pain in the butt because I had several monthly bills attached to that credit card. I'm sorry I ever got involved with this company.Claritev

We apologize for the delayed reply. Sorry to hear what you are going through, please know that MultiPlan (Claritev) is not the company you have spoken over the phone with or that you agreed to enter into a contract with. MultiPlan is a provider network, has never sold any product directly to consumers, nor has accessed your credit card. Please re-check your information that you gave to this company when you signed up and submit a complaint against that organization. We encourage you to contact your states Department of Insurance or ************************* with that same information if you believe you are a victim of fraud. We wish you all the best.Review fromTaryn K

Received a letter in the mail from ****** the law firm today stating my information was breached but I'm like how?! Idk what company I would have been with that Multiplan was/is providing services for? Like there is nothing I can find on why they would even have my information to begin with. Very concerned at this point. Waiting for customer service to get back to me.Claritev

The only I can say: I'm very happy with Multiplan ppo. I understand the complaint I'm not a provider. I'm a patient. They work so great for me. Thanks Multiplan.Claritev

1 starThis is a total SCAM. I called this number as advertised on the web, and I spoke, too much, to this broker who wanted me to believe that this is health insurance. It isn't.As soon as I asked the name of this company, and did a quick ****** search, I realized it is a SCAM, and told the operator...He hung up abruptly.****** learned. People, if it sounds too good to be true, it isn't.Avoid this at all costs.Review fromRobert M

Yeah good luck getting a live person on the phone and after several months they are still charging my cc all I want is to cancel my membership should be simple right? I guess they are a legit business but like others have complained they seem to run it like a scam if anyone's reading this doing some research looking around to buy my advice is don't walk away RUN!Review fromCourtney M

1 starZERO STARS, not 1. This is crazy, this company is calling me all day long. I accidentally called them instead of the marketplace (gov) ********* site. During my call I quickly realized It wasnt right and hung up despite the agent being really pushy. If you look online youll read from multiplan that they have no agents calling people to sell them ********* but thats just not true. The agent on the phone was trying to sell me this plan available via multiplan and when I asked for a quote for a actual marketplace plan she pulled up a quote for a undisclosed HMO policy within seconds (clearly didnt search anything, just made It up) and tried to reinforce why the multiplan option was better. Number 1: open enrollment is closed and theres no way she had a real HMO option for me, so that was a lie. Number 2: the agent keeps reinforcing shes a licensed agent in the state, more lies. If these folks arent somehow being paid through their Healthcare business by Multiplan then why are they trying so hard to steer vulnerable people toward these plans. Luckily I am not dumb enough to fall for It.Nonetheless- ever since I hung up the phone with her my phones ringing off the hook with these agents. I want It to stop. If you tell them to put you on a no call list or to please stop they just hang up on you. Then call again. Its insane! Clearly a scam and I want It to stop.Review fromMark P

1 starMy partner recieved a text from what he thought was "Covered California ". The text stated that the open enrollment date to apply for coverage was near and he needed to respond quickly to avoid penalties . He was quite ill at the time and in desperate need of coverage so he called the number listed in the text message. It was deliberatelty misleading and made it appear as though he was calling "Covered California " which is a marketplace that assists Californians in finding low cost health insurance. After giving his personal information to the person who answered he was told that he qualified for PCHS Multi Plan PPO. That name in itself is misleading . She quoted him a price of several hundred dollers which he paid by credit card . Not once was he told that he was not actually purchasing health insurance. He was given an effective date , copay information , all of which were very reasonable. He was told he would recieve a packet of information in the mail and cards in about a week. I worked for many years in healthcare and even I was missled. In retrospect she never said it was not insurance but it was definately presented as such. Only by looking at your web site did he actually see that you are NOT a health insurance provider and he did not buy what he was led to believe he was buying . $300.00 dollars later, sick and still not insured and has now missed the open enrollment date. This company provides no service that someone cannot do themselve, it and uses offical sounding jargon and deceptive sales tactics. People who are not familiar with the industry are being vicimized because they dont know any better This is predatory and shameful.
