    A friend purchased a DREO window unit air conditioner for me in June 2023. In May 2024 I began having problems with the unit. I contacted DREO about the problems, provided video proof of the problem, provided the serial number (including a photo of the serial number), and provided proof of purchase. When I realized they were being slow at responding to my concerns, I went to their website to see about filing a warranty claim. I saw on their website that registering your product would extend the warranty, so I did this. My warranty was extended to November 2025. I inquired about a warranty claim and was told I had to have the physical warranty card that should have come with the unit. When I said I did not have a card, they refused to honor my warranty. According to their website, the only thing needed for a warranty claim is proof of purchase. I have contacted DREO multiple times through both email and telephone. I am only told that without the physical warranty card, they will not honor the warranty.

    My AC unit has an error code (EC 54) and isn't working properly. There's no mention of this code in the user manual or online, so I contacted ********************** support on 6/27/24 (12 days ago) but have not received a single reply. I even sent in pictures of the error to the generated Zendesk autoresponder (which claimed "... we will get back to you within a business day"). No one is getting back to me to let me know what the code means much less how to fix it.

    Purchased June 8 2022 Issue with unit reported June 2nd 2024 Confirmation email from dated on June 2nd 2024, Dreo confirms: Warranty extended until November 24 2024 Lifetime Technical Support ************************* They have me troubleshoot and it doesn't help.I ask for an exchange and they wrote back saying "Unfortunately, we regret to inform you that this product has been discontinued, and we no longer offer replacement parts or accessories for it." so it's not possible to fix. They also no longer make this unit, so not possible to replace. Since they cannot fulfill their warranty agreement, I want a refund in the amount paid of of $614.79. The last email contact from Dreo was on June 19 where they ignored my mention of my extended warranty and said it was no longer covered. I will attach an email from Dreo showing the truth. I have sent many followup emails advisor my warranty is still valid. They've now stopped responding at all.

    I purchased a small Dreo room heater that kept malfunctioning for $75.41 off amazon. I was going to return it to amazon due to all the problems I was having but when I went to ask Amazon support a question they canceled the return and told me to get support from the actual manufacturer who is Dreo. I went to support through email with a customer service representative named *****. We finally decided the heater is faulty due to it overheating numerous times and turning on by itself during the night. Then after leaving it unplugged for several days it wasnt heating enough. She said to return it and that she would refund me $75.41 as soon as she received the product. He wanted my PayPal information so he could refund it to me there which I gave to him already. He received the heater almost a week ago. Now ***** or the Dreo support team wont respond to any of my emails and I never got a $75.41 refund nor do I have the heater.
