I have a 10 year Vip membership with Usafis for immigration advice, of which approximately 6 years have elapsed. During this period I was attended by several people who have offered different services. In Mar 2021 *************/Documentary Process informed us that we had been chosen/eligible by the U.S. ********** of ***** for our family of 4 members to start the legal immigration process, the requested amount was $4500 which included release contract with lawyers, file conformation, form filling, zoom preparation for the consular interview and appointment assignment. The payment was made by transfer on Mar 9, 2021. It didnt include Consular Rights, the appointment would tentatively be in ********. Parallel to the payment, we sent all the required documentation; latter several emails requesting an invoice, contract, status of the process. The response was that they were working on the file.On Aug 4, 2021 we received a call from ******************************** Process Manager who after more than 1 hour of conversation, told us to include ourselves in the consular appointment in ************** in Nov and therefore we had to immediately provide data on a credit card to make a charge of $6,780.00, we did NOT. When demanding the $4,500 invoice, he sent us 3 letters: Immigration Package Application ************************ and another referring to tickets. We ordered in the month of Sept. 2021 they granted us an appointment in ********, receiving in response calls from *************, ****** and ************************* indicating that they would be the ones to attend us, that everything would follow its process (without further expenses) they sent information on English courses at a cost of $1,500 x level in universities where they had an agreement, this should not have been a requirement either.Jan. 19, 2023 and february send e mails for the refund. After that date, only massive data update emails have been received and nothing from the officials who were supposed to attend to us.

I saw an ad on the internet saying that residency in the ** was being granted. I filled out a form and they contacted me. They asked me for 299 dollars saying that the US embassy charged them for doing the paperwork. I paid them with a credit card. Then a week later they asked me for more money, this time ***** dollars, but since the limit of the card was not enough, they charged me 800 dollars more. In total I paid **** dollars. They told me that I would pay them later. I did not know that the US Embassy held annual drawings for diversity visas. It was by chance that the applicant himself could register easily and for free on the Internet. I did it a few days ago because I started to mistrust and they gave me a confirmation code. Yesterday USAFIS communicated by mail to tell me that they had a code, which was the same style as the one they gave me. It is not possible to verify if I was registered or not but it is a scam to charge thousands of dollars for a form that I can fill out myself. I am alone with my 15-year-old daughter and I earn 900 dollars per month in my job. Those ***** dollars were in savings that took me many years to have. I asked Usafis to give me a refund and they told me no and they cut off my telephone communication. On the embassy website they warn of these frauds I did not see it
