    Sent my clothes out for wash and fold. They were returned with 2 pairs of black pants missing and a set of sheets. The cleaner keeps claiming they returned everything and refuses to search for my missing items

    We do not have evidence. However, when I washed her (****************) clothes in the past, there were a few times she said they smelled bad asked us to wash them again for free. 20 Dec 22, after the last wash, she called us the next day and said she lost a pair of pants and asked us to pay $100. We didn't lose her pants, she was lying.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved .

    I did not ask the business for any money, only to find my pants given that I had paid $100 for them and did not want to have to replace them. 

    The only thing that is true in the business's response is that i asked them to rewash my clothes a couple of times. I had paid for hang dry (extra charge) and received my clothes, still wet, smelling of mildew, rolled ** in a ball inside a plastic bag. 

    These cleaners are incompetent and are thieves. I strongly believe the lady I spoke to just decided to steal my brand new pants. Why else would they react this way and refuse to undertake a search?

    Hello and good evening, BBB. I understand the concern **************** is facing about losing her laundry at my business. However, I swear that we didn't lose anything from **************** because she lied about giving us her laundry and losing it. Furthermore, she never provided evidence of her laundry, and we have already searched for them. Therefore, we will not claim to the missing laundry and not be able to provide a refund; adding on, we will defend ourselves legally if it needs to be.
