      Our son used this business as a venue in his music business. Funds up to four thousand dollars, or more, are sitting with this company. Our son died after a month of severe illness and we our his legal guardians. My husband has been in contact for months maybe even over a year to attempt to receive the payment due to us on the revenue this company has held for his music payments. We have provided all of the documentation we needed to send to prove his death and our legal rights as his parents and direct line of our relationship and ownership of his existing estate including proceeds from the music BMI has ii its possession. This existing amount of approximately ***** and any additional royalties that come to BMI as payment for existing music being paid for by his fans. We have attempted communications with them in the past few months in order to secure some word on the progress of receiving this money and any monies forth coming in the future or monies that have already accrued. To no avail. This has been a non productive and unexplained situation. We have been given their word by one person after another that the check will be forthcoming. To my knowledge the last interaction with the person representing the company was about two months ago. At that time we were told the check would be mailed to us directly and in a timely fashion. The only name I have is a person named **** and another woman who said she was a director but I am not sure of that name, it may be ******** but I cannot be sure. In addition to the fact that we have never received this check that was confirmed to be ready to be sent it causes my husband and I a great deal of anguish having to do this over and over again knowing our son is deceased. It is emotionally painful and very distressing. We want this need to communicate with them to be finished. We were assured early on in this process that all the papers of proof of death and all of our legal status was in their hands and they were sending.
