5 starsI recently used Oz and I was so impressed by the professional service I received. I've moved before in ** and it was always a hassle, but not this time. They came highly recommended by one of my doorman, and he told me sees movers in and out everyday, and ** is by far the best. He's not wrong, they were amazing. 5 stars** moved us to ****** this passed month and the entire move was seamless. Bajo was my coordinator and he was there with a quick response every time I needed him. 5 starsI recently used Oz Moving for my apartment relocation, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From the moment I contacted them, their customer service was exceptional. They provided a ************** and answered all my questions promptly. On moving day, the team arrived on time, worked efficiently, and handled my belongings with care. worked efficiently and took great care with my belongings. 1 starAnother unhappy customer. You're already seeing how bad the company is rated. Just adding oil to the fire: they're crooks. I moved out of *** to ** but had to keep my staff in storage. I offered to pay up front for a year but was told it's not acceptable. So my storage cost within a month went up.I also bought insurance that stated coverage from *** to fl with the stay in OZ storage. When I was ready to move out I had to pay another $2000K for being in storage when the mover knew up front that it'll be for a year. Also I was charged for using the shuttle because the 18 ******* can't be unloaded on the building drive - all scheming Basically you're kept hostage until you pay to get your things. Then they gave me a date and did come but brought somebody else's baggage. I had a week later another date and had to wait almost till 3 o'clock while they're knew the building closes for delivery at 4pm. The trackers that came were subcontractors who wanted to charge me extra bs the distance to the elevator supposedly was more then 200 feet - it wasn't. They didn't kow much....Finally it was delivered. One of the pieces that was packed by ******* was broken. I had purchased additional insurance to cover $40000K of items. The way the move coordinator-************************ filled the detailed application I could recover the third of the cost of the item that was broken. The insurance is another scheme to get money from you. They don't explain that items of significant value must be listed individually and they must be packed by the movers. Anything packed by the owner is not covered although I was including it in my $40K coverage. The coordinator never mentioned that only items packed by OZ will be covered and that I need to list them individually.Please beware of the switch and hook practice and don't waste your $$ on insurance And most importantly - don't use this companyOz Moving & Storage, Inc.

In response to this complaint, please note this client was a client of Movage prior to our merger, and moved into storage March, 2023. At that time, the client advised they would be in storage for roughly one month during construction on their new home in **. At that time, they purchased an insurance policy with a third-party company, WTI, and were well aware of the terms and conditions of the policy they purchased. The policy offered coverage in storage for up to two months. They did not stay in storage for one month, they stayed for many months, just about a year, and made no effort to extend their insurance policy during that time. Ultimately the insurance carrier allowed them to retroactively pay for insurance coverage for the time they were in storage until the final delivery in February, 2024. When the move was first booked in March 2023, the client was made aware there would be a cost involved for a shuttle truck IF the address could not accommodate a tractor trailer. This is common industry standard practice, as most movers use parge trailers to consolidate shipments on tractor trailers. In the event the final delivery location cannot accommodate a trailer, the property is moved to a smaller truck (that is rented by the company) and the final leg is on the smaller rental truck. This is beyond our control, the client's delivery address could not accommodate a trailer. All of the conditions of the insurance are clearly laid out by the insurance company PRIOR to the client purchasing coverage. Most if not all insurers will not ensure client packed goods as they cannot substantiate the quality of packing.Review fromJean A

4 starsThey were on time, quick and careful when they moved my stuff. They even helped me pack the last minute items that I did not get a chance to pack on my own. They wrapped my furniture with care. I would definitely use them againOz Moving & Storage, Inc.

1 starAvoid at all costs! They deserve a minus zero.During our cross-country move this company damaged and broke multiple items and mysteriously lost 6 boxes and an expensive bicycle where only the bikes mirror was found on the truck.Their incompetence was further proven when they left 2 large wardrobe boxes in the stairwell of our building which were later found by the buildings management!Company was extremely difficult to reach and extremely dismissive of our concerns.Company claims manager (A.B.) offered us $1000 if we would sign a release stating we would not let the public know what happened to us.Review fromJillian J

1 starI would give OZ Moving & Storage 0 stars, I 100% would. I had missing items, cracked technology, smashed valuables, and destroyed furniture. The response from the company was "things happen" and you should have bought another insurance package to cover the damage. In other words, I should have prepared better for my fragile boxes to be stacked under large furniture and my furniture to be stacked upside down and damaged. Worst of all, even the movers shared that the furniture and boxes were poorly stacked in the truck and caused the damage. I have moved often and never have had this level of disregard for my things - the items looked like they were just tossed in a the truck. It is sad to have pieces of your life treated that way. Never again with OZ!
