    I paid this business a total of $3,100.00 for a tutoring service that encompassed the ********** Admissions Test tutoring and law school admissions counseling. The amount I paid for the tutoring preparation was $2,699.00 and the law school admissions counseling was $499.00. The business I am filing a complaint against ghosted me from August 7, 2024 on before we were able to complete the entirety of the course I paid for along with the admissions counseling. Since I cannot account for how much of the lessons we did not cover yet for the tutoring service, I am only seeking a full refund of $499.00 for the admissions counseling. I will be attaching a receipt showing I paid the $499.00 for the admissions counseling. This business NEVER provided me the service of any admissions counseling and when I messaged the tutor requesting a refund for the admissions counseling I never received, I was ignored. This was my first and only attempt at a resolution because I was very clear in what my demand was.

    It wasn't entirely clear from her message to me whether they would still like to continue tutoring but not taking advantage of the admissions consulting service. We don't have a policy of what we normally do in these situations, but after internal discussion, we have decided we will grant her the option of choosing a refund or deferring the service. The service was purchased in advance, but is activated once a client decides to pursue applying in a particular law school cyclewhich is a decision only they can make. They never indicated to us they were planning on applying this cycle definitively. Had they done so, we would have started the process.
