      I had accidentally sent a personal item(early April 2023) instead of my return to Byredo. Their customer service emailed me on April ********* telling me they have received my personal item and said they can ship it back to me on May 2nd 2023.I have since followed up a few time (on May 2nd, May 14th, May 21st, May 24th) to better understand the status of my personal item return and receive the tracking information without success. Can you please help me with this?

      On 12/03/2021 someone hacked one of the credit cards of our non-profit. the reference number on our credit card is: ***************** with the description being BYREDO USA Inc ******** **.This card was used to purchase $1169.11 of goods from Byredo. When we have contacted Byredo, they stated that the purchases were an in-store purchase and we needed to contact the store. We did contact the store and they stated they had no record of the transaction in the store. We were then told to contact their stores in Nordstrom, Bergdorf Bergmans, Saks, and Bloomingdales. They have replied that if it was purchased at their store the store name would be on the credit card statement. So we are at a loss to find out where this fraudulent purchase was made, so we can contact them to see if we can get our funds back.We are a small Water Rescue non-profit and $1200.00 is a big deal for us. So any help would be appreciated.

      We have supplied a credit card statement that a transaction did occur from Byredo. We have to question your accounting practices, that you can't determine where the purchase was made? We also have to wonder how many others this has happened to? While the amount may be small to your company, that amount can purchase some gear we need for our Rescue Team.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

      I fail to understand how a large company like Byredo can't find where a fraudulent purchase was made when provided with the transaction number, the date, and the amount. I did include a copy of the credit card statement and yet they want me to talk to my financial institution. Which I have done and their records also indicate the purchase was made in Byredo, **, **. While the amount may not seem a lot to them, we are a small non-profit and need every dollar. 

      So I have added our Credit Card Statement again showing the transaction.

      We have confirmed the transaction does not exist in our database. We suggest filing a police report and disputing the charge with your bank. There is no further action we can take until this occurs.
