TV Guide suddenly started being delivered without request. Then, I started getting letters telling me I owed a large sum for the magazines. I NEVER requested such a thing. I wouldn't even take it if they gave it to me free. I ignored the first letter. Now, I've gotten a second and third letter that are getting more threatening. I was afraid to respond since it is obviously a scam of some sort.Customer Answer

I subscribed--with a paid subscription to a year's subscription to TV Guide Magazine this past May. I got inquiries and ads from the company, and I advised them to start my subscription to TV Guide Magazine as I had already paid for the publication. Since then, I received ONLY ONE TV Guide Magazine. I have complained repeatedly to to the company, by phone and email, advising them that I have not received the TV Guide Magazine--only one issue. Despite these complaints to TV Guide Magazine, I get pro forma, robotic acknowledgements. I await the TV Guide Magazines but they never come! I even suggested that they could send the TV Guide Magazine to my office address if they are having trouble sending it to my home address (************************** 18H) as my subscription specified. But I get no responses from TV Guide Magazine, only drivel from the customer service reps, and no response from the TVGMag executives to whom I have sent complaints! Is this a scam? I can't figure out why I cannot receive the TV Guide Magazines I paid in advance for. I want the company to send me a year's worth of TV Guide Magazines, for which I contracted and already paid!!! No more excuses from them!Initial Complaint

I am the Personal Representative for the Estate of *********************************, who passed away on December 1, 2022. She had subscribed to TV Guide Magazine for the 2023 yearly subscription. When I requested a refund, TV Guide promptly sent a check for $91.92 but unfortunately was only valid for 90 days, in which I had not been officially appointed to handle her affairs and the check expired. When I did get appointed, I contacted them to re-issue the check. They were accommodating and asked me to send them the expired check back to them and they would re-issue a new one. I promptly did that along with a short note. They stated it would only take 2-3 weeks to receive the refund. After a month, on 4/14/23, I called again and then again on 5/1/23, 5/23/23 and 6/1/23, and then lastly sent them an email online on 7/18/23. No response. Each time, whether I spoke with a sales representative or a supervisor, I heard the same response, "it's in the mail and should take 2-3 weeks". I would very much appreciate the refund in which is due to the Estate and would be so grateful for your assistance in this matter. Sincerely, *********************, PRCustomer Answer

At the beginning of January I started receiving TV Guide magazine. I never asked for this magazine and assume that one of my previous subscriptions is no longer being published and was replaced with this magazine. When I received the magazine I immediately (January 11, 2023) sent an email requesting that they stop service and refund my money. I was never sent anything stating that a subscription was ending nor did they ask if I wanted to switch to something else. No response came from them. I emailed again on February 28th and still no response. I am still receiving this magazine. I gave them my acct number **************/3#, told them my new address as I had moved from ************************************************************ and asked for a refund as per the magazine this is going until December 25, 2023. What kills me is every magazine they send is less money they owe and this has been going on for too long. I want this subscription to stop and I want my money back.Thank you.****Initial Complaint

I have delivery problems with TV Guide. I've now missed 2 issues back-to-back and all they do is blame the ************ I get other publications from the same P.O. branch and don't have this problem. They keep extending my subscription for each missed issue but they never tell me why it keeps happening.I've emailed their customer service address but I never get a satisfactory resolution to the problem. It's been over 6 weeks since I received an issue. I should be getting them every 2 weeks.I just want to know why I can't get delivery of the magazine. If I even got late delivery, that would be better than no delivery at all.Customer Answer
