    This is a medical practice that lies and miss leads patients. Please look at the ****** reviews about it, many patients have the same fraudulent experience as I did. Last May I visited their office for a routine physical. The doctor here suggested, certain tests, and assured me the tests would be covered by my insurance. They collected my credit card for the co-pay. After the appointment, for eight months now they have refused to provide documentation so that I can get insurance to cover the tests. I have emailed Manhattan medical arts, I have called, Ive gone in person, and Manhattan medical arts will not provide the documentation. They then also threaten to bill me for the cost of it after lying to me that it would be covered. Many many many patients have this experience, it is clearly their scam to order tests that a patient does not need, to refuse to provide documentation, and then to collect money from patients. Please read the other ****** reviews were multiple people have the same scam happen to them.

    On November 3, I went in for an echocardiogram at the recommendation of ********************************, who oversaw a routine physical in September. As instructed, I scheduled (and paid for) a follow up appointment two weeks later to receive the results. They were not available. I was directed to schedule (and pay for) a second appointment later on. Once again, the results were not available. It has now been more than six weeks, and I have not gotten a report, a call from a provider, or any explanation as to what is going on. I have called at least 5 separate times, and each time I have to explain all over again what is going on. More upsetting is that each time I paid my copay over the phone, they issued a card on file agreement without consent or disclosure. After the first time, I asked to opt out of this agreement and was told it was not possible. Instead, I would be forced to have the billing **** cancel the agreement each time. Im honestly not sure how that is legal.

At one point, **** explained that certain test results had multiple components, and there were six kinds of duplex scans: (Transaction Doppler 3 components: ultrasound carotid, arterial, ultrasound ****** ultrasound, abdominal, and vascular study). When I asked what the actual tests for which I was billed for -- he said the Duplex Scans and Vascular Study were ultrasounds, and later ******************* told me look at the US doppler scans. My question remains: WHAT WAS I BILLED FOR? Why do I have more items on my bill than I have test results for? On November 13th **** said he'd be sending me a detailed breakdown of the remaining charges; I just received the exact same bill, which spells out nothing. I have been calling the billing department and leaving voice mail, and I have been emailing through their web portal. I just want a bill breakdown so I'm sure I'm only paying for what was done!Thank you *****
