    Under the guise of "pre-screening for eligibility," most of the surveys that U.I. offers will have lengthy questionnaires you have to fill out before being selected for the research/study.The crazy thing is, most of the data that they collect from you is useful info for the survey-owner's benefit. You are not compensated for your time filling it out, and they get to keep that data for free, with no promise of compensation or that you'll even be selected. There is little to no protection of privacy and data by the ******* has been roughly two months since I joined (and to join U.I. at all, you have to submit a lot of personal information for the purposes of 'screening') and though I've attempted to join several studies and surveys, I have never actually succeeded in getting accepted for one, let alone compensated.I would stay away. This feels super scammy, and others on reddit and other places online are reporting similar results.

    I have done a dozen studies/groups/interviews. I have been paid anywhere from minutes to a couple days upon completion. Great company!

    I had been a fan of User Interviews until recently. Now I recommend staying away! Monday, June 24 I applied for a study called Shopping Habits. I was approved it was an unmoderated study. So I went ahead and finished the study. I took a screenshot about the study. Now they will not pay. They allowed the researcher to put a study on their website. Now they say the researcher won't pay and the have removed them. The researcher was from ****. They gave the researcher a platform and that is the only reason I felt safe doing it! Now I'm being spammed by **** and User Interviews isn't willing to pay me what I was promised on their site! They do not keep your information safe!

    This company is extremely childish and unprofessional. They engage in manipulation tactics such as ghosting and ignoring their customers. They also blacklist people for no reason whatsoever without any type of communication. I don't know what kind of market research goes on here, but it seems as if the staff are all teenagers or still stuck in high school. I truly don't understand how this is still in business.
