    Dear Beacons Closet Team,I arrived with two large bags of carefully curated, high-quality clothing including pieces from Reformation, *******, and a barely-worn Ganni dress all clean, in season, and in excellent condition. After waiting in line for nearly 40 minutes, I was told my items they don't want my nasty a** shit". They also called me slurs and cursed at me multiple times.Not only did this feel dismissive, but the tone and attitude were unnecessarily rude and condescending. I understand that buying decisions are subjective, but as a customer, I expect a minimum level of respect and transparencyespecially after making the effort to haul multiple bags across the city.This experience left me feeling embarrassed and unwelcome, and I truly hope its not the standard Beacons Closet wants to set. Ive admired your store for its commitment to sustainability and community, but this interaction fell far short of those values.

    To Whom it May Concern:

     

    This complaint is entirely untrue and we believe a retaliation from a former employee who was terminated.  Just days ago she filed a false complaint which was also unbelievable, but mistakenly included her name and email. We let her know that we knew about it, and that we would seek damages for libel if this behavior continued.  Like this complaint, she categorized it as a "repair issue".  In this current complaint she, for some reason, put ************************************* as her own email.  We aren't sure why this former employee is so angry but they seem unwell. She was caught in a lie at work and was terminated for this.  We would never treat a customer this way; it is just a bizarre tale. Beacon's Closet has been in business in ******** since 1997 and at this location since 2011. We rely on our customers and this is just a total fabrication.
