    I bought an Alpha Freewrite device and was very excited to use it. It's a distraction free typing device that saves your writing in a cloud and then gives you the option to email it to yourself. On about my fourth day using it, the machine started to lag. When I typed the text would not show up for ***** second, and sometimes not at all. Thinking there was a problem, I tried to email my writing to myself but it froze on the "sending" page. So I kept writing thinking that it might solve itself. But then mid-sentence the machine turned off, and when I turned it back on, my writing (and my entire project) was gone. This is a machine whose only promise is to let you type and then save and email that typing. But all of my writing was gone. This would be "fine" if the customer service hadn't been so dismissive and bad, I called them 5-6 times and never received a call back. The email reply that I receive suggested that I reset the machine to factory settings. But they did not acknowledge my loss of work nor help me get anything back. They didn't care at all that the machine they promised would save my writing failed and destroyed my work. So here's my problem, I don't know if it was a glitch that will never happen again, or if this is something that regularly happens with Freewrite Alphas because the company refuses to acknowledge the faulty product. Super disapointed with Astrohaus and Freewrite, which I funded on Gofund me.
