      I purchased a DVD player at *** ******. I called Sony for warranty support and they said it needed replacement. So when I sent in the proof of purchase Sony responded by saying *** ****** was unauthorized to sell their DVD player, they continued to send this answer when trying resolve this wild unsupported statement of theirs. The problem is unresolved and their seems little chance I will receive help. Sony it appears is known for these practices in various ways. I am trying to file a complaint to the BBS but there link to Sony is broken. It is sad Sony is getting away with this type of behavior. I hope Canadians will take more firm action on companies that do these things. Maybe Canadians are starting to have enough of things like this. Thanks, *** ***********

      I purchased a pair of wireless earbuds. It did not come with all the parts and I returned them the next day. *** ** damaged them on the way back to Sony. Sony says they need to do extensive research - could take weeks for a $25.00 refund. I spent hours on this . I am done with Sony - trying to reach them is hard.

      Their Sony WH-1000XM5 headphones have received hundreds, probably thousands of complaints online that the hinges break down after months of use. I have owned two of the devices and experienced the same. After three weeks of fighting warranty denials (I only owned the devices 2 months before breaking), it took them 3 months after shipping out the broken headphones to receive the replacement. Disheartening to see such a good headphone lineup end with this.

      So I purchased linkbuds s that quit working, I was sent a replacement (linkbuds S are no longer available) of under quality and value, when I brought this to there attention I was offered another pair if I pay an extra $50 USD, I went through "SONY’S" warranty for my specific item and it clearly says to replacement should be of equal or above equal value. They don't want to stand by it. On top of all of this it's going on 2 months and the replacements are now not working. So "SONY" are actually gonna sell you **** items and then leave you stuck with them. I think we need to get a letter drafted and get sony Banned from any business in US, including Playstation, I've actually bought a digital game a while back and it was the wrong title. I reached out and they said if I did or didn't download the digital content I still can not get a refund. I hope this helps hardworking people to understand that "SONY" are a multi-million/billion dollar company who you trusted with your money with and they will not help you.

      I had talked to a guy name Juan from through their support chat to close out my Sony account I had for my Bravia TV the guy said he would send me a email to confirm the deletion process and i confirmed then I get a postmaster error saying it can't be sent Their customer support is garbage

      Customer service is the absolute worst I've ever experienced. Refuse to offer a refund on an unwanted product. Also the wording of their policies is extremely vague and confusing. I'm beyond upset.

      Unauthorized charges. Attempted to contact them but they hung up on me every time i called. When I finally reached them, they said they would not refund it because I didn’t contact them within seven days. I did, they just don’t answer. Provided a Sony reference number and a Paypal reference to show I contacted them within 7 days. Refused to let me refund, escalate, or make a statement.

      Worst customer service and warranty. Talked to some unempathic customer service rep that recognized the headphones were sold to me with a known manufacturer defect that was not general wear and tear but it was outside of the 12-month warranty so they wouldnt do anything. Not to mention the virtual assistant hung up on me 5 times throughout the process. Do NOT buy Sony it is so garbage. $500 headphones with a 16 month lifespan. Unbelievable
