    Ordered custom windows, (2) and paid half down, paid 750. On 5/16/24 and was suppose to have windows in 3 to 4 weeks and has promised a few times to do them and actually said he would be there on Saturday, then on a following Monday. He has not shown up and his voicemail is full. Justin won't respond to texts. At this point I am assuming he is not interested in the job so I am asking for a refund of my 750.00. It's too bad as he has done good work for us before. Thank you.

    There was a scheduling issue because customer wanted a specific installer, but did not want to want for said installer to be available. Customer was refunded deposit on 7/11, received funds on 7/18.

    BBB spoke to the customer and the following was relayed:The business took money and did not return to do the work, there was never a specific installer I was waiting for. The business did pay but only after the State Police were involved and they went and got the refund check from him.

    On June 21st.2023 we had JLS Home Services repair a leaking second floor bathroom skylight.The repair entailed caulking at the roof level outside the house as well as drywall repair at the ceiling inside the house.The job was estimated in advance and we agreed to pay 400.00 which we did in cash.About two weeks following the work,we noticed that the plaster repair of the ceiling was bulging indicating that the skylight is still leaking.We tried several times to contact the contractor by phone and email asking them to return to witness the problem.They have not returned any of our calls or responded to any of the emails.We would like them to either return and diagnose the problem or refund the fee charged.Thank you,

    We repaired the skylight as best we could with the parameters set by the customer. We informed them that the skylight and most likely the roofing needs to be replaced, not caulked. They said they were selling the house and just wanted it to look like it hadn't been leaking. I told them there was no guarantee the caulking would remediate the leak. After they had someone else paint the ceiling, they called and told me the patch didn't look the same as the rest of the drywall, which I had informed them out wouldn't be a perfect match. I told them I would stop by when I was in the area again to take a look, but haven't been in the neighborhood since. I haven't received any more calls or messages from the customer, this is the first I'm hearing that the skylight is still leaking.

    We tried several times to email them as well as left voice messages. My wife did finally speak to somebody and he promised to come by and look at the ceiling where it is blistering, but he never showed up or called.   At the time of the service we never stated that we wanted a temporary fix.  What they did failed the first time it rained.  I would like them to return to look at the ceiling and determine if the repair can be improved or refund the fee since the repair was an immediate failure.

    I told the customer that there was no guarantee it would not leak as they need to replace the skylight but didn't want to pay to do that. I also did other work at their request. I am willing to refund them $150 to resolve the complaint.

    The business did not return to look at and address the issue after multiple attempts to contact them and being told they would return. I agree that he also did trim work which there is no issue with. I would accept $200 as that is 1/2 of what we paid and is fair.
