    On May 6, 2024, I submitted a deposit for the amount of ******* to place an order for a Mokai Kayak. I spoke with an employee **** ****** who took my order. I was advised that the lead time for the order was six weeks. This same information is stated on the website. After months of calling to get an order status and a completion date I was finally contacted on November 7, 2024, requesting my final payment before the kayak would be shipped. This was six months after the initial deposit. I made the final payment of ******* and received a conformation from **** ****** that the funds had been accepted. In the email from **** ****** at Mokai he stated the kayak would be shipped in a week and a half after payment was received. It is now January 16, 2025, and I have not had any update to the delivery or the status. I sent an email today asking for a shipping date and reason for the continuous delay. I would like for Mokai to ship the kayak and remove from their website the claim that new kayaks have a 6 week lead time. It has taken almost 9 months.

    8/27/2024 I mailed chk 1201, for $2,000 to Mokai. It processed and cashed into Mokai bank acct on 9/3/2024 Sept 9th, emailed inquiry on production and delivery *********** REPLY Oct 13th, emailed for status of order NO REPLY Oct 19th - 6 wks lead time ********** REPLY given by company.Oct 21st - inquired about status NO REPLY Oct 25/26 - 7 weeks, sent email asking for order info NO REPLY *** Advised Mokai to immediately cancel my order and process a refund check.Oct 27th - emailed Mokai to cancel my order and send a chk "Refund" of $2,000 by NLT Nov 11th.Oct 27th - Mokai responded. Claiming order would be ready next week. Nov 1st, emailed Mokai , requesting a mail date , for my refund check, to be sent....NO REPLY Nov 5, emailed Mokai again, asking for a mail date of my refund chk..NO REPLY Today, Nov 8th, NO REPLY and NO REFUND check for $2,000.

    I paid a $1,000 dollar deposit on September 1 2023. I was emailed on September 14th saying my kayak was in final assembly over the next two weeks and to make the final payment of $5,045. I mailed the check on September 14th and I still dont have my kayak. I have emailed ********************* the owner two times asking when to expect it to ship. He has yet to respond to my email. I noticed on their website today that they are now offering a discount of over $600 dollars for ordering from them. Why do new customers get a discount when Ive been paid up for over a month and half. I deserve a refund for the difference l.

    On November 8, 2023  check number 407 for $550.00 was issued to ********************* and mailed **** on the same day. Speaking with ********************* on the 8th these actions satisfied his complaint. ***** originally ordered a boat under a certain discount program. On a later date we had a new discount program designed to bring in new orders that would ship after the first of the year. ***** wanted the new discounted price and we shipped on November 2nd.  *********************
