Me and my wife had our wedding with this caterer on 3.22.23. We paid well over $80,000 for them to coordinate my wedding so we can have it at their venue. We were informed months ago that there would be another wedding the night after ours and that we could potentially split costs with the couple in regards to an aisle. Me and my wife decided we wanted a 26" custom made aisle runner and contracted a company (********** ******************* to install the runner. This was a custom made, special order runner that cost me and my wife around $6,700. This type of aisle had never been done before at this venue but its what my wife wanted so we did it. We informed the venue/caterering coordinator ************************* that under no circumstance would we share our aisle with the other couple if they didn't want to pay half the cost ($3,500). *** had guaranteed us that there would be no way that the couple could afford that and that they would be using carpet. The night of my wedding, after everything was finished, we asked *** point blank why the company we contracted to make the aisle didn't come pick up the runner when it clearly states in the contract it was supposed to be picked up that night. She told us (to which I do have witnesses) that he is going to pick it up in the morning. Long story short, they gave my custom built runner to the couple from the following night and I found out all over instagram. Can someone please express to me why a coordinator for a well known hall is lying to their clients face and conducting immoral business? How they can have someone pay for the labor, take a bribe from the following client, and get a cut from something I paid for. If it wasn't for me, that runner wouldn't have been there in the first place. I didn't pay so *** could take a BRIBE and work in bad faith. This venue also screwed me over with a missing station. I was suppose to get 6 and I only got 5 and her lie on giving me 2 Persian stations was also BS. This is unacceptable.
