    Vastola came and installed our new energy efficient heater with an air purifier. Not only has our heating bill went down but our air is noticeably easier to breathe and just overall generally smells better. Maybe its the new heater, maybe its the air purifier, not sure, but happy with what we got either way. The smoke from the forest fires last summer is why we ended up getting an air purifier just in case it happens again - peace of mind really. Durea was also awesome to work with and super helpful with understanding the install process and also helped us get a rebate!

    Vastola sold us 3 high efficiency ********** electrical units one was a split system and the other 2 were full systems back in November. One unit never achieved heating goal set. The unit was constantly not working when temps were below 32 degrees. Also the fan continued to blow even when fan was on auto. while the others worked fine. The unit was very loud sounding like an airplane landing in my back yard. From November to July our electric bill went well over 1000 percent. They said it's because of a surge. Well I called our utility company and they came out and right in front of the Vastola rep concluded that they are responsible to know what power the unit can handle. Our Master Electrician also was on hand and said Vastola was wrong. No utility can control one houses power and in fact the power was still within noted guidelines. It was up to the seller which Vastola is to advise on what equipment was best for our home, they failed to do so. Stated it needed a transformer. Well the other two units had no problem, was not loud, they shut off correctly and did no have so called surge issues. Brand new unit from November (Purchase Month) to July it took to solve the issues. But did not reimburse us the difference in the elevated utility bill. They in a non caring way sends a letter to us trying to stick us with 5 months of bills reaching 1400 for a month. This is unacceptable. I would never recommend this company. Since when does the customer pay for your poor judgment. Very disappointed in this company.
