Bought a used vehicle two months ago front pads were worn out as brake light came on was taken to a different dealership and indicated that the pads should not have passed inspection… This just tells me that the inspection was not physically done Just a sticker was slapped. It’s a shame, especially when your family is on the line and you just don’t care… I will make sure you are reported to the BBB and make sure your inspection is Revoked…

I was told on the phone that they needed to look at my Honda Pilot to be able to know what it would cost to have them install a 7 pin trailer harness and break controller. I asked if the estimate was free. They said yes, it would not cost to have them do an estimate. I drove 30 minutes there and back costing me time and gas. When I got there, the service area was chaotic. One person leaving there said to me "GOOD LUCK" as they left and were clearly unhappy.
I told the person at the service counter that I had an appointment to get an estimate on my Pilot to have the trailer harness installed. He seemed confused and never even looked at his computer or checked the schedules. He asks where the car is and asked for my keys. I went inside to wait. After 15 minutes of waiting he comes and says he needs my information to set me up as a new customer. He then proceeds to tell me the estimate will cost $200. That is without them doing any of the actual work.
I was told one thing on the phone (free estimate) then told it would be $200 after I invested time to get there. This is actually illegal but not worth my time to pursue. This was a classic bait and switch.
I will never use Ray Laks Honda again and strongly recommend you don't either.

Service department is absolutely awful. Even their own salesman agree to not bring vehicles there for work.
They apparently can't look up if something is under warranty and lie about the time their work will take. When asked about a time frame for work to be done, their service department laughed at us for asking. This is our 3rd time attempting to have work done there and surprise, they have never fixed anything any of those times. Go literally anywhere else.

I would leave this dealership zero stars if I could. They knowingly sold my husband and I a lemon, and nobody at the dealership seems to care. Friday night we pick up the car at 5pm with our newborn baby in tow, and at 7pm the check engine light comes on - right after we drive about 50 miles which if you know anything about cars, means it was reset and after about 50 miles it comes back on if the problem was never fixed. Since the dealership was closed, we decide we’ll call in the morning - surely they’ll help us out. The next morning we call right away, they sound ANNOYED and tell us they don’t have any appointments for a few days. So at this point my husbands new car is blocking me in the driveway, I ask him to let me out so I can run errands and go grocery shopping - and the brand new car WONT EVEN TURN ON. We’re now trapped in our house because my car can’t even get around him. Mind you we have a baby and I’m concerned about his level of food, emergencies, either of us getting to work. So I call back and demand they sent a tow truck TODAY. And look at the car asap. Again I’m met with, well we don’t have any appointments today. Are you kidding me? I buy a car from you less than 12 hours ago that won’t even turn on now and you can’t look at it immediately? I talked to 4 people at the dealership and not one of them even offered me an apology. Why do I feel like an annoyance to them for asking them to care that they sold us a lemon? We also left two voicemails for the manager and he didn’t call us back. I gave him the benefit of the doubt thinking maybe he was off that day until my husband told me he was in the office - he just didn’t have time to speak with us. Lastly they had the audacity to charge us $50 to get a courtesy car while our brand new car is back in service - we had to demand a courtesy car they didn’t even offer one straight away. I’m disappointed and appalled at the way they’re taking advantage of us as a young family. Buyer beware.

Never and I mean NEVER will I take my car to Ray Laks Honda ever again!
I took my car in on December 22nd 2022 for a warranty issue regarding my catalytic converter. Ray Laks took 2.5 hours to look at my car and then told me that STARTING it would be $3830 to fix my car because the warranty didn't cover ANYTHING but the actual converter.
They then told me that if THEY broke anything in the process of fixing my car, I would have to pay for what they broke.
I instantly panicked! I don't have a spare $4k+ to throw at my car, and even talked to a salesman about buying a new one!
These dealerships see a single young female and think they can take advantage.
Fortunately after talking to a friend I was told the warranty for my car covered all the components of the converter along with the converter itself. I SHOULDN'T have had to pay for anything.
So I took my business elsewhere!
Sure enough, another Honda dealership looked at my car and EVERYTHING was covered by the warranty! Didn't have to pay a dime!
