    We booked two rooms for two nights May 24 - May 26, 2024. Rates were very high due to a busy weekend. In one of the rooms the toilet would not flush. I complained about this on day one and was told it was looked at on day two, however, the toilet was never fixed throughout our stay - very inconvenient and disguisting.

    ***** ******** only had one reservation the Other ******** was ****** which was his son, Guest wife called down on May 25 to the front desk and told us room 231 was having plumbing issues, We told her we would be sending up maintenance and asked them when they would be out of the room so that we could have him in there. After the 2 rooms had left for the day our maintenance man  went to room 231 and checked the toilet and came back to the desk shortly after to report the toilet was functioning properly. So we marked that off as finished.  When guest came to check out ***** ******** reported to the desk that their toilet was never looked at I went through our maintenance orders and informed the guest we were told room 231. Guest did not argue just said it was suppose to be 229. after guest had gone maintenance went to room 229 and found the toilet to be filled to the top with toilet paper. Our staff took care of the room they reported never were we told 229. and as you can see His receipt did not total $963.16.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.The fact that one room was in my son's name is irrelevant - I paid for both.My wife does not remember calling the front desk about this, but if she did, doesn't the desk have caller ID so they would know which room she was calling from? I do remember reporting the issue in-person at the front desk. When I complained about it not being resolved on day 2, all I was told was that the maintenance person had looked out it - nothing about the room number. If Best Western will not at least offer something as compensation I will boycott the chain for the rest of my life, and leave this hotel a horrible review.
