      I went and got my oil changed on 4/12/24 and on 7/10/24 my car would not start so I checked the oil it was bone dry and my oil said it was at 36%... So I had my car towed to my mechanic. I called my mechanic after 2 days to see what the issue was and he said my engine went in my car. I had my car for 3 years and this has never happened to me I have no leeks and I always let my oil go down to 13% before I get my oil changed so I think Moore's Tire in owego ny did something to it or did not add oil to it or enough oil..... and I want something done about it.....

      Yes, my repair shop did change the oil in this customers car on 04/12/24 in a 2014 ***** ******* with 99,515 miles on it at this time. Customer stated that their car did not start on 07/10/24 also stated that the car was bone dry of oil, if we had not put oil in the car on 4/12 the car would have had indicator lights on, the low oil and engine light indicator should have came on. Customer stated they had it towed to their mechanic, we have not hear directly from the customer nor his mechanic. This complaint notice from BBB is the first i have heard about this. We have no way of telling how many miles were driven since the oil change nor do we know if the engine went bad? My shop has not seen this vehicle since the oil change on 04/12.  The customer seems to depend on the oil change indicator light on his dashboard which can be changed by anyone at any time, which we understand, but shouldn't replace physically checking the oil manually in his car apprx. every 2000 miles.  I have attached TSB "Technical service bulletin"  from Pro Demand on the 2014 ********* ******* stating that this engine accepted rate of oil consumption is 1 quart in 2,000 miles and also attached is a Service bulletin on this vehicle about the oil consumption: Stating that ***** ******* has had thousands of complaints about consuming excessively high oil. I have personally talked to my tech and his manager and they both stated that the vehicle received the oil change and was serviced to our satisfaction. President/Owner  Bill Watkins
