    March 10, 2023 Statement From ************************, PO BOX ****, *******, ***** ***** unit # **** I leased or rented this unit in 2018 for ***** from Safeguard Self Storage #******, Address *********************************************************The kept increasing my rent on mini storage unit to ****** in 2023. I could not afford to pay because I am now homeless and live in a motel. The storage refused to cut me a new lock in person on 8/5/2022, *** ******* and ********* were working that day and wanted me to sign a form to release my information I refused because they did not cut the lock. On Feb 1, 2023 I called Safeguard Self Storage store ******(***** **** *****) and informed them that I could not pay my unit they did not send any form in writing but an e-mailed form asking for the rights to my name and property and to notarize the form, I refused to sign anything OR get anything notarized and left a message and requested the letter be sent to my PO box in writing. I have yet to receive a form in the mail, and believe that my personal information was sold to ****** illegally and my signature was forged and notarized illegally without my consent . A woman named ****** is answering safeguards phone number ************ Please investigate

    The paperwork that was asked of her to sign was a permission to break her lock not to release her information. When she became late in her rent she stated on the phone she could not pay and to let her unit go to auction. We stated that if she sent a noterizied statement saying that then she would not get any more charges on her account. All our lines are recorded in and out.
