    Scheduled service for my **** ************* oven/range with Island Wide Appliance for Nov 11, 2022. Technician, ***, Arrived at noon. I had spoken with technician earlier that day & had provided him with model #. *** had responded, "Oh wow! That's an old one". When I described the issue with one of my burners, still mostly functioning, *** asked, "is it the left front burner?" which I was shocked by, giving me the impression that he must really be familiar with this unit. *** disassembled the stove front panel & replaced a small circuit board that was supposedly the faulty piece. Once he reassembled the stove & attempted to turn the burner on, the burner did not turn on at all! Then *** attempted to turn on the back ************ that burner wasn't working either. *** was baffled that the stove wasn't working. *** had again, disassembled the front panel, & disconnected the new circuit board, this time reinstalling the old circuit board to see if it would work. Unfortunately it did not. Now, I have gone from having all 4 of my burners functioning, to having only 2 burners functioning. I was told by *** that he would speak with the ********** would get back to me regarding what the next step would be. Friday came & went with no contact. I reached out on Monday afternoon since I still did not hear back anything from Island Wide and spoke with *****, the dispatch/receptionist. I informed ***** of what had transpired & was expecting a call back. ***** informed me that she would speak with her manager & get back to me the next day (Tuesday). Wednesday afternoon, still no word back from Island Wide, I decided to follow up again with them. ***** informed me that since the stove is so old, there is nothing they could do & that they didn't charge me, so it is no longer their problem, as if I should be grateful they didn't charge me for breaking my stove. I told her the answer was unacceptable and that I wanted to speak to the owner. ***** told me that this wasn't possible.
