On 6/28/23 Cameron Roofing did a complete tear off and a roof replacement on my home I was assured by Sean K***** that the crew they were using was excellent. It turns out the crew was not qualified and did very little correctly and didn’t follow GAF specifications or industry standards. When the job was completed they had caused damage to 5 of six gutters, gauge in fascia, tar and fingerprints on vinyl siding, destroyed baffles and scratches all over sidewalls, etc. The damage is so vast and repetitive it appears it was done intentionally. I complained about the damage and the roof being done incorrectly, and Sean, Brian C******, and Nick who made no apology demanding payment or else. They denied there was anything wrong with the roof but would replace gutters, repair ceiling ,replace shrub and clean siding. The repairs never happened as they were informed I planned to seek the roof being replace. At this point they threaten to sue for balance and claim they had pictures and the backing of GAF.to testify, I hired a certified roof inspector from ****** *******, a highly regard company by GAF, who reported almost everything was incorrectly done. Dave Cameron claimed the report was biased and the GAF rep should be consulted. On 9/6 the GAF rep, Sean and Nick stood in my driveway claiming nothing to do here. Their lawyer did send me a letter after I wrote a review that they would credit me 1000 dollar if I never published . I contacted GAF who hire an independent investigator who verified the roof problems. Cameron roofing finally omitted the roof was incorrect when contacted by GAF. They claimed to replace shingles on drip edge, all shingles installed short and fix open areas at peaks. Since then they will not specify what they will do since the vast majority of shingles are not correct and roof needs to be replaced. I have all emails, letters, reports and numerous photos. I’m looking for the $10;500 I paid and another $3500 for damages and increased costs.

We are in the process of suing the homeowner for the balance owed (which the homeowner is aware).  He's continued to waffle on what is acceptable for him to be satisfied.  Is this complaint possible knowing there's a law suit in process?

We’ve been dealing with this issue since April of 2023. We thought we’d come to an agreement as to what needed to be done to satisfy the customer and then the customer would change his mind and want more from us. We most recently agreed to stop legal proceedings to resolve the issue and now all of a sudden he files this complaint. Unfortunately, the homeowner waffling has lead us to no other recourse. We recognize there are things that need to be done, but replacing his entire roof is not one of them.

On November 28th after 4 months of Cameron roofing denying there was anything wrong with my roof I received an email from Sean K***** informing me to that after receiving GAF report they were willing to make corrections. Accordingly they said they would replace areas where the shingles did not hang over the drip edge, replace shingles that are low or high nailed and installed flashing where flashing is missing. I called Sean asking what exactly they would be doing, he responded that he would check with Nick and get back to me in the new year. In April I contact them and they ask for list of my complaints which I sent on April 17th. They answered a few weeks later that they didn’t like the complete list and suggested court. I called Sean asking if you don’t like my list what is your solution, he email back all I needed to do is accept us doing the work GAF stated. On May 5th I asked how the repairs to drip edge would be done and what shingles would be correct since the majority are installed incorrectly. Also how the peak would be corrected and they please send out someone to inspect the roof I end speculation. On May 17 th I asked for a response and was told not to contact Sean anymore. I received a lawyer’s letter after that reinstating their position. I again asked the lawyer for specifics since majority of shingles are installed incorrectly and never heard back. The inspector from GAF was unable to inspect the entire roof do the fact the shingles had sealed and he didn’t what to disturb them in chilly weather. The fact is Cameron Roofing has done several homes on my street and numerous homes in the areas all quality jobs. I hired Cameron roofing for one their normal quality installation and got the exact opposite and total disregard for my property. At this point Cameron Roofing is cherry picking to see how little they can get away with, totally disregarding ****** ******* report. The fact is there is very little if anything right about the roofing installation and or that this crew didn’t care what they did as long as were paid. I never have received a legitimate offer from Cameron Roofing so I refuse their current offer to do minimal repairs. I hired Cameron Roofing for their experienced certified staff and a quality roofing job which I watched them install on occasion, well coordinated and no problems. I feel that they should omit when they make a mistake and take responsibility, instead of trying to get away with something. I don’t understand why the law suit when they never completed the contract and made the decision not to repair damages to my home.                                                                         Thank You                                                                          ******* ******
