Had solar installed by this company, was supposed to be installed in November 23, wasn’t installed until 1/1/24. The system is still not complete because we don’t have a meter still. So we can’t even turn the system on. I’ve called several times and been told someone will return my call, nobody will return my call. We are going on weeks of this. All we want is our meter so we can turn the system on. Not happy after spending 80k

This solar PV system was sold to the homeowner on September 19, 2023. We were unable to complete the design work until November 21, 2023 when we were able to obtain the final pictures of the homeowners roof structure. This delay occurred due to the homeowner being unavailable. We then finalized the design, obtained the building permit and completed the installation of the system on December 29, 2023.  Upon installation completion we submitted paperwork to the homeowner's utility company to finalize their project. The utility notified us that the homeowner had not cancelled their community solar plan and that their project with 3rd ROC Solar could not be finalized until the community solar plan was terminated. The homeowner provided documentation of the community solar plan being terminated on January 14, 2024 and was immediately submitted to the utility for processing. The utility issued Permission to Operate to the homeowner on February 1, 2024. Once Permission to Operate is issued the utility takes approximately 10-15 business days to change out the homeowners electrical meter which completes the process. We do not have any record of the homeowner attempting to contact our office until last week.

Hi contracted third rock solar to install a $9000 solar system on my house. I now have a bill for $24,983 on a solar system that doesn’t even work on my house. The contract that I was showing was changed, and my signatures were forged by the company.

We have spoken with the customer and have offered to meet to discuss their concerns with their solar system. The customer signed a contract with 3rd ROC Solar and we installed the solar system on the customer's property in 2021. At that time the customer took out a loan with a third-party bank for the cost of the solar system, which matched the cost on our contract with the customer. The customer was required to sign a complete set of loan documents with the bank that detailed the amount of money borrowed and the repayment terms. No signatures were forged.
