This was a horrible experience, I never plan on going back. They are way overbooked, and you feel like you are livestock being rushed from place to place. During my appointment I was moved to 3 different rooms. The doctor was impatient with me and filled my prescription improperly. She put that I didn’t need a lense for one eye, when I need a prescription in it. This was only discovered when I went to order glasses. The glasses department told me to pay for my glasses when I was supposed to pick them up since the order was ordered wrong. Then I get a phone call 2 weeks later that I have to pay my bill before picking up my glasses. I asked to schedule an appointment to pick them up and I would pay then, but they would not allow me to schedule. Also, during the initial appointment they tried to charge me for a contact lense consultation which I did not receive. Horrible place to go, awful service and unfriendly staff.

This place is always overbooked. They have patients waiting longer to be seen for their appointment which is anywhere from 2-3 hours VS a quick check in and wait 30 minutes or so vs other businesses we have been to. It's ridiculous. They harrass you over billing statements that are due by via texts and emails for a "reminder" yet the login portal is an issue and not simple to pay the bill. I called as well and they no longer allow patients to make payments to break down the total cost of an EXPENSIVE BILL. If I didn't have to go here and there was another business establishment in town I would DEFINITELY GO ELSE WHERE that has better business practices & less rude staff! If you're reading this a trip to Vermont might be faster than your wait at this place!! It's quite obvious this place abuses their form of business bc its the only place in town that many people are stuck going to and they suck! Check ****** reviews....

I went to Eyecare for the Adirondacks for the first time. I finished up the contacts I had received from another location and put my new ones in. The prescription is so off, I get sick to my stomach wearing them. I called the contacts department every day for a week (it goes to voicemail every time) and voicemail says to give 48-72 hours. Well it’s been A LOT longer than that. I need contacts for my job outdoors (in the water, glasses are no good). No one answers. Finally called the main desk and said I need to speak to someone, asap. The woman tells me I’ll get a call tomorrow. It never happened. Now, it’s been over two weeks of me calling and getting no call back. I had to call my previous eye care provider to get a printout of my prescription, and from there found out Eyecare for the Adirondacks gave me my right eye prescription for both my eyes. They made my left eye prescription a lot less than it had been before, and I didn’t think eyesight could get better? They will not help me. They continuously hang up on me or put me on hold for 20 minutes at a time. that they are sending me contacts and a heartfelt apology for ordering two boxes of contacts for my right eye. They made this order BEFORE contacting me and sent it to the wrong address. I told them I don’t live at this address on the receipt I was sent and they said they would update it and it would ship to the correct address. Seemed fishy, so I called Abby (the contact delivery service) and they said they’re wrong. They can’t fix the adress they ordered it to and Abby will have to cancel that order and I’ll have to call back. I’m now in the same phone call cycle that I was before. The issue is still unresolved after two weeks.

My yearly eye exams are fine, the doctor is good. The problem is the contacts department. You have to call and leave a voicemail if you need to order contacts or if you have an issue or question about your contacts. The recording tells you that it may take 48-72 hours for a call back. Then if they call back and you happen to miss the call, they leave a voicemail for you. Then you have to call them back and leave another voicemail and wait another 48-72 hours for a callback. It’s a vicious cycle and weeks can go by before you speak to an actual person. It’s an absolutely ridiculous way to run a business! I’m forced to order my contacts elsewhere because I can’t get through to anyone.
