Started out fine, but **** has become unresponsive. Has not returned phone calls to the office or his cell phone, hasnt responded to emails or text messages. The answering service is apologetic but **** does not respond. It is disgusting how someone can take your money knowing that you are trusting with an important life event and go radio silent. My case is not a complicated one. I would like a refund of what I spent as well as the court filing fees.Initial Complaint

After dozens of texts, emails and phone calls, the company was unresponsive. I had to go to the county clerk's office myself on Aug 25th to find out that the divorce was granted on April 13th of this year! Only an answering service. No real people to talk to. Terrible experience.Initial Complaint

On June 4, I completed the online paperwork and payment which was successfully taken out of my account and was advised via confirmation I would hear within 7 days from a representative to go over my paperwork. I waited to two weeks before reaching out and then emailed with no response and then a week later called. I continued emailing and calling for two months now. No response to emails. I have left a message with representatives each time Ive called and been told someone will call me back shortly and the last time two weeks ago was told they would tell ****, the owner, and he would reach out. No contact has been made. At this point, its been over two months with no contact and no work done for my case so I need a refund.Initial Complaint

Paperwork for divorce filing Paid 599 March 2024, and 120 June 2024. **** K @ ezidivorce havent returned calls made in the past 8 weeks and time for second set of filing has expired. All I want is a refund of my money so I can get the service I need elsewhere. I am writing to file a formal complaint against EZ Divorce regarding their failure to provide the services for which I paid. On May 30th 2024, I paid EZ Divorce to file my divorce papers. Despite two months having passed, I have not received any updates or confirmation regarding the status of my filing.I have made several attempts to contact the company for an update, but my inquiries have gone unanswered. This lack of communication and service is causing me significant stress and inconvenience.I am seeking the BBB's assistance in resolving this matter promptly. I would like EZ Divorce to provide an immediate update on the status of my filing or issue a full refund if they are unable to fulfill their service.Thank you for your attention to this matter. In Feb. 2024, I contacted EZDivorce to help me start the divorce process. I completed their online questionnaire, they contacted me to answer additional questions I had, and I ultimately paid the $499 for their services. They sent me docs to file which I held off doing for a couple of months but was told by **** that I could do that and they would keep my case open until Sept. That was my last correspondence with EZ Divorce (Feb/March 2024). In May, I filed the docs and I have been following up with EZ Divorce ever since to provide them this update to make sure that the courts processed my paperwork accurately and additional information is not needed from me. I have emailed **** several times with no response. I have left messages on both of their numbers which feed into a third party messaging services with no call backs. I have even tried using their online chat and when I start the chat, the chat tells me to hold. At this point, I want at least half of my money back because they have provided half of the services so that I can contact someone else and spend more money to have them finish what EZ Divorce has not or I want EZ Divorce to finish what was started. It is really repulsive that when people are dealing with some of the most challenging circumstances of their lives such as divorce or funerals, people come across the worst services.Initial Complaint

They do not return phone calls or emails regarding the status of my divorce paperwork. I call almost every day and do not get any calls back. I believe my divorce paperwork is needed in a timely manner and they are not communicative at all. It has been 6 weeks since I have last heard from them. Completed online questionnaire and payment of $499 on August 29, **** to *************, CEO of ezdivorce. He sent paperwork for the 1st step of the process. Once I completed the 1st step, I followed his instructions and emailed him documents to proceed with next step. He never confirmed receipt of sensitive documents. I texted and called several times and have not received any communication back.The service I paid for is not finished and he has stolen my money.Business Response

Thank you for contacting us. We did prepare the customer's first set of documents quickly, and they were emailed to the customer. However, some of the customer's follow-up email communications did unfortunatley enter into the email spam folder, which occasionally does occur. We have been in contact with our valued customer and are currently preparing additional documents for behalf of our customer.

Several attempts to communicate with the company were made by me. This was not just by email but also direct phone call to 2 different phone numbers and several text messages to the number the ceo used to initially communicate. All were ignored and calls were sent directly to voicemail.
This is poor business etiquette particularly for a company that is dealing with clients going through a stressful life changing experience. The company is also handling people's sensitive personal information and to be completely absent in communication is unacceptable.

I contacted the company Thursday at 1:30PM via text message. This is before the labor day weekend officially begins. If there was a planned extended holiday weekend then the company should notify clients that they will be unavailable until specified date. I also attempted to call several times on Tuesday, Sept 5, which is after the labor day weekend. None of these communications were received/responded to. I would like a refund and have already initiated a stop payment through my bank. This episode has caused unnecessary stress for me and my family and I do not wish to add to the stress by paying $500 for poor service. Thank you

We've reached out to customer multiple times (and to customer's mother who was initially working together with us in regards to the case), and have not been able to speak with customer. We've also delivered customer's second set of documents in a timely manner. We understand that customer has initiated a stop payment and will ensure that a full refund has been granted.
