    I called Wired Up Electrical initially to replace some old outlets in our new home. The day before the appointment, some lights started going out. Uh-oh! The crew came and pulled off the front of the breaker panel, and there was a bunch of rust inside the breaker box from a leak! One of the circuits was completely covered in rust, and you could hear it sizzling. Our home inspector had not pulled the front off the panel and missed this.Obviously they recommended a panel replacement and pulled the ***** circuit and blocked it off immediately! We had plans to upgrade to 200 amps in the next few years, anyway, and the safety issue was obvious. **** was great at explaining what was needed and why, and charged a fair price.The prior owners had built a bar in the basement and made a hidden cutout for the existing panel in the paneled wall. In addition to installing the new panel and fixing other issues, they took the time to mount the new 200 amp panel and make it flush with the paneling so it still looked classy - a little thing, but I didn't even ask them to do it and I appreciated the extra effort! They also changed out... oh, probably over 15 old outlets for us, did GFCIs in the kitchen, and in general made our house feel like it had a modern electrical system that wasn't going to catch on fire. Again, even with the outlet replacements, they took the time to explain what we had and the condition of the wiring behind the outlets. They were friendly, thorough, and never made me feel foolish for my lack of electrical knowledge. I would highly recommend this company and will likely be calling them again in the near future to install an exhaust fan in our bathroom.
