We signed a lease with one of The Crest Group's properties (The Grand in ***********, ********) on February 2nd along with a security deposit of . On February 14th, I found out that I would no longer be working in the same city as The Grand's apartment complex and gave them a call and let them know that I would not be able to stay there. They contacted me and let me know that they would see what they could do.After not hearing back from them, I emailed them four more times (February 19th, February 23rd, March 4th and March 6th) for status updates, as the apartment was not publicly re-listed. On March 6th, I heard back from ********************************* saying that the apartment would be re-listed on the website. This was 16 days after my written communication. On April 1st, I heard again from ********************** stating that the apartment would be re-leased to another party on April 27th, leaving us responsible for the 15 days between our initial move in date of April 12th and the new party's move in date of April 27th. I requested that this responsibility be waived due to the untimely manner that The Crest Group took in re-listing our apartment.
