I needed to replace the garage door motor, and contacted ROM Garage Doors. They quoted a fairly high price for the area. When questioned, **** argued that the motor they install is high quality and has a 4yr warranty. After installation, I checked the manual and found that the model they installed only had a 2 year warranty. We called back and she admitted that it was only a two year warranty, but assured us that they are always available and would respond to any call in the future. Over a week ago the garage door stopped opening and we called ROM Garage Doors for service, thinking they would act in good faith, but they refused to service a motor they had promised to maintain. This entire time the garage door has not been functioning and they had assured us they would call us back, and finally after 5 calls they admitted they would not come out to service the problem.

Roll-******* Oct 2022 replaced broken springs on garage door with wrong size that required 60 pound pull to open door manually. Correct springs size allows door to be lifted by human with 10 to 15 pound pull. Two months later, wrong size springs caused problems. Called ROM but did come. Sent ROM letter with details about issues. Reply letter refused to replace wrong size and detailed justification for size used, suggesting other factors as cause. ROM hand delivered refund check.Had another company install proper size springs. Door now opens with 10 pound pull lift. Replacing springs is simple, requiring basic hand tools, a scale, simple math and common sense. Good business skills would also help. All seemed to be lacking at ************ Overhead Garage Door, ***************, **
