I signed a contract with this company for the installation of a heat pump for my upstairs and downstairs for the price of $26,238.60. I sent a check to this company for $13,238.60, which was what was required and the balance is due upon completion of the job. The job was started on 9/7/22 and was to be completed on either 9/13/22 or 9/14/22. I was told by the division manager, *************************, that if there was something that I was not happy with to let the workers know and it would be rectified. On 9/8/22, when I came home, I was not happy about the way the line was put through my linen closet and I informed the worker in charge and I also wanted the hole in the floor to be sealed, because I was having trouble with mice getting into my closet. Well, he said that I had no right to say anything to him and that he wasn't going to seal up the hole until after everything was done. So, I called ************************* and he, of course, sided with his worker. Then, the next day, 9/9/22, I was leaving to go back to work and he was working on the breaker box and wanted to know where the breaker was for my computer. So, I went down the basement and showed him and I just said that I hoped that I wouldn't have any problems with my computer when I got home. Then, I got a call from **** and he told me that this worker called him and said that he could not work in my house anymore. So, he told me that if I wanted the rest of the work completed, I would have to wait for a month to six weeks before he could get another work crew out to my house. When I agreed to go with this company, I was assured that this work would be done before the end of September. Now, it appears that I will be lucky to get it done before the end of October. I do not want to wait until the cold weather arrives. This company is going back on everything that I was promised and I don't understand why this person refuses to complete this job. I did not do anything to provoke him and it is very unprofessional.

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Yes, the job was completed, but I am still not satisfied about the way I was treated. This company was very unprofessional because they let their employees walk off the job and I had to wait a month to have the work completed. I am still very angry about it and was told that this job would be done before the end of September. Well, the job was completed on October **********************************
