  This company just steels money from you. I start my own company and needed a payroll company and someone recommended PayChex. The worse mistake I have ever done. I wanted a 401K plan and they said they could do it. What they didn't tell ever is that there is $4300 "set up fee". I called to complain and they said they absolutely told me about the "set up fee". I had only been with them for 2 paychecks when I discovered this charge. I told them I don't want to have this anymore because they didn't tell me about the $4300 fee and they said it was to late and even if I left them I would still owe them the money.
  So the bottom line is do not EVER use this company and please tell everyone you know!!!!

  Worst company we have ever worked with! My emails and phone calls have been ignored to the point I had to contact our old insurance company directly because after 5 months our workers' comp policy still has not been canceled by Paychex. Their customer service is terrible, and that is putting it nicely. For context we have had a new workers' comp policy since January. I reached out in Feb to make sure all our documents were submitted. Since we never had a response email I assumed everything was complete. Yet they still renewed out policy May first even though we have not used their payroll service since January. Per their own policy our policy should have been canceled when we switched to payroll companies in January. I would love to know where the money came from to renew our policy when we haven't used their company in 5 months! I wish I had read these reviews before using Paychex.

  This company is the worst company to deal with if your run a business and looking for a payroll company do not use them. I have been trying for 5 months to close my account with them I have been told on the phone it all taken care of I also have an email saying they put in a cancellation but yet again they are still take money out of my account. So please think twice about using this company. They will try and talk you into stuff and tell you you can cancel at any time but that's not true. I have not had any employees for 5 months and been dealing with this daily...

  I want to choose ZERO STARS!!! I wanted to file an actual COMPLAINT but this system will not allow me to and instead makes me post here. PAYCHEX is the worst Payroll company around. I've had to file an AUDIT with ******* ********* for the last 3 years due to OVER CHARGING us. They have not filed the required 941 Forms for the last quarter they were responsible (June-July-Aug) of 2022. Now I have multiple issues with the State of Florida and possibly the IRS due to their NON-Compliance of filing the required 941 form in 2022.
  I just contacted ******* because instead of sending me an invoice for the Audited amount of $107, they sent me straight in to a Collections Agency. I overnighted payment in the amount of $107 check #1257 from ***** for the balance and to this day Paychex has not deposited it. Paychex received the check via **** ******* 1 day delivery on April 17, 2023 at 11:20 AM. I have copies and receipts for everything. STAY AWAY from PAYCHEX payroll company.
