3 different accountants worked on my account including: Amanda M********, Joe V**********, and Dave M*****. Review of their work was to be done by the owner Kevin C******
When Amanda left the firm Joe took over. It turned out ALL of bookkeeping that Amanda was PAID to do was not complete. Joe V. said he needed to start over and requested that I purchase a different version of ********** as my version didn’t give him the tools to do his job. Something that Amanda somehow missed for a year? Joe then left the firm many months later but not before confirming for me in EMAIL with Dave CC’d that he had all the information needed to complete my taxes in 2 weeks time. Book work not done. 8 months later Dave still did not have my taxes done from the previous year.
Near the end I got one prickly email suggesting that the firm could not take my calls without charging me. Nor could they spend time responding to my complaints. They suggested they had done a lot of work for "free" yet could not tell me why my taxes were not filed in a timely manner or why my book keeping wasn't done for contracts signed and paid for.
My new CPA found less than 300 categorizations in my ********** from C&C ever.
The firm filed documents with the wrong EIN number twice which incurred penalties to my business. They confirmed IN EMAIL that they would cover those penalties and then took funds from my account WITHOUT my permission to cover the penalties. I NEVER gave approval. They stated these funds would act as a credit on my account only after 3 requests for explanation. This happened AFTER the owner had confirmed in email not to touch any taxes or future work from me. Translation there was nothing to credit.
They also asked in email that I give them a P&L from years past when they were my CPA... WHAT??
I have screen shots and video recordings to back this statement and a much longer list of complaints, including a surprise $5500 bill and an admission that some work was never started.
